Juan de Espinosa Medrano (Calcauso?, 1630? – Cuzco, 1688), known in history as ''Lunarejo'' (or "The Spotty-Faced"), was an Indigenous cleric, sacred preacher, writer, playwright, theologian and polymath from the Viceroyalty of Peru. He is the most prominent figure of the Literary Baroque of Peru and one of the most important intellectuals from Colonial Spanish America (along with the New Spain writers Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz and Carlos de Sigüenza y Góngora). The Cirque Medrano (in English: Circus Medrano) is a French circus that was located at 63 Boulevard de Rochechouart, at the corner of rue des Martyrs, in the 18th arrondissement at the edge of Montmartre in Paris. It was originally called Cirque Fernando. The title "Cirque Medrano" is still active today: it is now a successful French traveling circus. Francisco Medrano (poet)
Francisco de Medrano y Villa ( Seville, 1570 - 1607) was a lyric poet from the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries, considered one of the best of the Spanish imitators of Horace, comparing favorably in that respect with Luis de León. He should not be confounded with Sebastian Francisco de Medrano who was also a poet and lived at about the same time. He belongs to the house of Medrano, a well-known and ancient noble family originally from Igúzquiza in the Kingdom of Navarre, prominent during the Spanish Golden Age. Life Medrano was born in Seville 1570. He was the son of Don Miguel de Medrano and Doña María de Villa. He entered the Society of Jesus and was ordained a priest in 1594. She is best known as the creator of the adult animated series ''Hazbin Hotel'' and ''Helluva Boss''. Giovanni Antonio Medrano (1703–1760) was a Sicilian born in Sciacca (rather than in Palermo) in 1703, and who had entered the service of Spain in 1719 as a Military Architect, although it is probable that he had already joined the army of the Marquis of Verboom Jorge Próspero de Verboom, in the Sicilian campaign of 1718, since in December of that same year he appeared as extraordinary engineer and sub-lieutenant of this body, and in 1720 he worked in the Principality of Catalonia. Francisco José Medrano Magaña (born July 14, 1983, in San Salvador, El Salvador) is a former footballer who played as a midfielder. His last team was Sonsonate F.C, Club career Medrano joined Alianza Reserves from San Luis Talpa Reserves in 2001 and was barely used for the seniors in the next season, prompting him to leave for Luis Ángel Firpo where he did get significant playing time. Luisa de Medrano (Atienza 9 August 1484 – 1527), was a Spanish scholar. She is known as the first female Professor in the Universtiy of Salamanca. Luisa belonged to the group of Renaissance women who were famous for their knowledge and called by their contemporaries "puellae doctae" (''learned girls''). Life She was born to the nobleman Diego López de Medrano from Navarra and Magdalena Bravo de Lagunas from Castile. Pedro Medrano (26 April 1769 – 3 November 1840) was a Uruguayan-born Argentine statesman and lawyer. He was a representative to the Congress of Tucumán which on 9 July 1816 declared the Independence of Argentina. Medrano was born in San Fernando de Maldonado in Uruguay.
