Medientage München
The Medientage München (Munich Media Days) are held annually in Munich as a congress of the communications industry. An exhibition is organized and occurs at the same time. Every year in October, media entrepreneurs, media makers, and media politicians meet for three days. In 2015 more than 6,200 participants attended the congress, exhibition and events around the Medientage München. The Medientage München 2015 took place from 21 to 23 October, at the International Congress Center (ICM) of Messe München with the support from the Bavarian State and the ''Bavarian Regulatory Authority for Commercial Broadcasting'' (Bayerische Landeszentrale für neue Medien – BLM). Internationales Congress Center München
The convention center ICM–Internationales Congress Center München belongs to Messe München. It is structurally integrated into the exhibition center in Munich's Messestadt Riem and has been operating since 1998 together with Messe München. International medical and scientific congresses, general meetings of listed companies as well as events take place in the ICM. Since 2011, the ICM operates together with Messe München and the ''MOC Veranstaltungscenter München'' as the ''Messe München Locations''. Messe München GmbH is the operator of the Neue Messe München exhibition center, the ICM Internationales Congress Center München and the MOC Veranstaltungscenter München. The exhibition space of the 16 halls together is 180,000 m2 and another 425,000 m2 of outdoor area, making Messe München by far the holder of the largest outdoor area of all exhibition companies in Germany. Edmund Rüdiger Stoiber (born 28 September 1941) is a German politician who served as the 16th Minister President of the States of Germany, state of Bavaria between 1993 and 2007 and chairman of the Christian Social Union in Bavaria, Christian Social Union (CSU) between 1999 and 2007.
