The mandal is bounded by Ramayampet, Shankarapet (R), Kulcharam, Papannapet mandals and a portion of it also borders Nizamabad district. Census Of India
The decennial Census of India has been conducted 16 times, as of 2021. While it has been undertaken every 10 years, beginning in 1872 under British Viceroy Lord Mayo, the first complete census was taken in 1881. Papannapet is a village in Medak district of Telangana, India. It is bounded by Shankarampet-A, Tekmal, Kulcharam and Medak mandals of Medak district and Nizamabad district. Papannapet has an average elevation of 445 metres (1463 ft). History Erstwhile Papannapet Samsthanam covered almost entire undivided Medak district.
