Mecklenburgische Seenplatte I – Vorpommern-Greifswald II is an electoral constituency (German: ''Wahlkreis'') represented in the Bundestag. It elects one member via first-past-the-post voting. Under the current constituency numbering system, it is designated as constituency 16. It is located in southeast Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, comprising the most of the Vorpommern-Greifswald district and southeast parts of the Mecklenburgische Seenplatte district. Mecklenburgische Seenplatte I – Vorpommern-Greifswald II was created for the 2013 federal election. Since 2021, it has been represented by Erik von Malottki of the Social Democratic Party (SPD). The Pro Germany Citizens' Movement (german: Bürgerbewegung pro Deutschland) was a far-right political party in Germany. It was founded in Cologne on 20 January 2005 after Pro Cologne members had been elected to the Cologne City Council. Manfred Rouhs, treasurer of the Pro Cologne movement and former candidate of the German League for People and Homeland and the National Democratic Party of Germany, was elected its first chairman. Enrico Komning (born 6 August 1968, in Stralsund) is a German lawyer and politician. He is a member of Alternative for Germany (AfD). In 2017 he became a member of the Bundestag. Early life Komning earned his Abitur in 1988 and got a degree in construction work. 2017 German Federal Election
Federal elections were held in Germany on 24 September 2017 to elect the members of the 19th Bundestag. At stake were at least 598 seats in the Bundestag, as well as 111 overhang and leveling seats determined thereafter. The Christian Democratic Union of Germany and the Christian Social Union of Bavaria ( CDU/CSU), led by incumbent chancellor Angela Merkel, won the highest percentage of the vote with 33%, though it suffered a large swing against it of more than 8%. The Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD) achieved its worst result since post-war Germany at 21%. Philipp Amthor (born 10 November 1992) is a German politician of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU) who has been a member of the Bundestag since the 2017 German federal election. From 2018 to 2020, he worked as a lobbyist for the now inactive IT-company Augustus Intelligence. Education and early career Amthor was born in 1992 in Ueckermünde and grew up in Torgelow.
