Mcoy Fundales
Marco "Mcoy" Fundales (born 3 November 1977) is a Filipino musician, writer and actor. He was the former lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist of the popular Pinoy rock band Orange and Lemons. He is currently the lead vocalist of the band Kenyo. His musical influences are the bands like The Smiths, Eraserheads and The Beatles. He was one of the participant of ABS-CBN reality show, Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Edition Season 2. Fundales is currently serving as the writer for GMA Network's programs consisting of sitcom ''Pepito Manaloto'', gag show ''Bubble Gang'', and the musical-comedy segments for variety show ''All-Out Sundays''. Personal life Fundales was born on November 3, 1977 in Baliuag, Bulacan. He attended Mariano Ponce High School in Bulacan in 1990s where he met Clem Castro. Baliwag or Baliuag, officially the City of Baliwag ( fil, Lungsod ng Baliwag), is a component city in the province of Bulacan, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 168,470 people. Baliuag was founded in 1732 by Augustinian friars and was incorporated by the Spanish Governor-General on May 26, 1733. The city was a part of Quingua (now Plaridel) before. Baliwag is from Malolos and from Manila. Through the years of Spanish domination, Baliuag was predominantly agricultural. Joey Benin
Joey Benin or Joey B is a Filipino bassist, singer, producer and musical arranger. He is best known as a former member of the band Side A and as songwriter for the hit song "Forevermore". Music career In 1986, Benin joined Side A as bass player. At the time, he was the youngest member in the band and also responsible for the song "Eva Marie". Side A is a Filipino pop band formed in 1985. They gained recognition in the Philippine music scene in the late 1980s through to the early 2000s. They are best known for their hit single "Forevermore." Side A achieved major commercial success during the 1990s. The Philippine Popular Music Festival (also known as Philpop) is an annual songwriting competition organized by the Philpop MusicFest Foundation and was launched in 2012. The creation of the festival was inspired by the defunct Metro Manila Popular Music Festival. The foundation itself is headed by the chairman Manny V. Pangilinan, executive director Ryan Cayabyab and administrator and communications director Patricia Bermudez-Hizon. The competition is only open to original and previously unreleased songs in English, Filipino and other Philippine languages. Since its inception, it's been airing annually in TV5. There are three prizes given: Grand Prize (₱1,000,000), 2nd Prize (₱500,000) and 3rd Prize (₱250,000).
