Clementine (musician)
Clem Castro (born 10 December 1976), also known by the mononym as Clementine, is a Filipino singer-songwriter and music producer who gained recognition with the band Orange and Lemons. After the band's break up in 2007, Clementine formed The Camerawalls and founded Lilystars Records, his own independent record label. He is also known for his solo project Dragonfly Collector, in which he released his solo debut album. Early life & musical influences Clementine was raised surrounded by 60s rock n’ roll and psychedelic music and from an early age fell in love with the likes of The Beatles and later on post punk guitar groups like The Smiths, artists that he is still inspired by today. Baliuag, Bulacan
Baliwag or Baliuag, officially the City of Baliwag ( fil, Lungsod ng Baliwag), is a component city in the province of Bulacan, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 168,470 people. Baliuag was founded in 1732 by Augustinian friars and was incorporated by the Spanish Governor-General on May 26, 1733. The city was a part of Quingua (now Plaridel) before. Baliwag is from Malolos and from Manila. Through the years of Spanish domination, Baliuag was predominantly agricultural. The Smiths
The Smiths were an English rock band formed in Manchester in 1982. They comprised the singer Morrissey, the guitarist Johnny Marr, the bassist Andy Rourke and the drummer Mike Joyce. Club 8 is a Swedish musical group consisting of Karolina Komstedt (from the band Poprace) and Johan Angergård (Acid House Kings, Poprace). History Formed in 1995, Club 8 were signed to the Spanish record label Siesta. They released a single called "Me Too" and an album called ''Nouvelle'' with an twee pop sound. In 1998, their second album, ''The Friend I Once Had'', and the single "Missing You" were released. "Missing You" became a club and radio hit in Spain and somewhat of a college radio favorite in the US. The band started playing live. Their first gig was in New York at a March Records CMJ event in 1999. Their sound had by now developed into a more bossa nova and dance-oriented one. The NU Rock Awards was an annual accolade presented from 1994 to 2010 by the Metro Manila-based radio station NU 107, known for prominent performances by the most influential pinoy rock artists of each year. The Camerawalls
The Camerawalls is a pop rock band based in Manila, Philippines formed in 2007 by singer and guitarist Clementine, the main songwriter of the band and formerly of Orange and Lemons. History With a cult following back in 2003 to mainstream success in 2005 via a series of hit singles through a major label, it was with the band Orange and Lemons that the breakup in 2007 resulted in the premature exit of Clementine from the music scene.
