The Ulster Scots ( Ulster-Scots: ''Ulstèr-Scotch''; ga, Albanaigh Ultach), also called Ulster Scots people (''Ulstèr-Scotch fowk'') or (in North America) Scotch-Irish (''Scotch-Airisch''), are an ethnic group in Ireland, who speak an Ulster Scots dialect of the Scots language, a West Germanic language, and share a common history, culture and ancestry. Career MacKnight's work falls under the post-Impressionism, an art movement that succeeded the nineteenth-century impressionism. McKnight made the major part of his career watercolors. His colorful works were appreciated by amateurs in Boston, who were receptive to impressionist aesthetics. He painted mostly landscapes and was considered as the equal of John Singer Sargent. Denyss McKnight (born January 1982 in Vancouver, British Columbia) is a Canadian musician. Biography McKnight spent much of his early years being classically trained on piano and music theory. After relocating to the British Columbia Interior as a teenager, he started playing guitar and started several punk and hardcore bands while working as production manager for local all-ages venues. Harmar Denny McKnight (April 29, 1848 – May 5, 1900) was an early baseball manager and executive. On October 15, he founded the Allegheny Base Ball Club of Pittsburgh in anticipation of playing in the new American Association. David McKnight (4 March 1935 – 14 May 2006) was a Canadian-British anthropologist and ethnographer who specialized in the anthropology of Australian Aboriginal people, with particular regard to the tribes of the Cape York Peninsula. He conducted over 20 field trips among Aboriginal people in Australia from 1965 to 1999. Life McKnight was born in Saint John, New Brunswick in 1935.
