Robert Curtis McElhinney (born May 23, 1983) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey goaltender. He previously played in the NHL with the Calgary Flames, Anaheim Ducks, Ottawa Senators, Phoenix Coyotes, Columbus Blue Jackets, Toronto Maple Leafs, Carolina Hurricanes and Tampa Bay Lightning. McElhinney was drafted in the sixth-round of the 2002 NHL Entry Draft by the Flames, and won back-to-back Stanley Cups with the Lightning in 2020 and 2021. Playing career Early years McElhinney played four years of university hockey for Colorado College, compiling a 62–15–8 record in that time en route to winning two Western Collegiate Hockey Association First All-Star Team selections in 2003 and 2005, as well as NCAA Second and First All-American Team selections in 2003 and 2005, respectively. Andrew Repasky McElhinney (born 1978) is an American film and theater director, writer and producer born in Philadelphia. McElhinney's cinema work is in the permanent collection of MoMA-The Museum of Modern Art, New York. Early life and education McElhinney holds degrees from The New School for Social Research (NYC) and The European Graduate School (EGS) in Switzerland. In 2011, McElhinney defended his PhD dissertation, which was subsequently published by McFarland and Company as ''Second Takes: Remaking Film, Remaking America''; He has been an instructor at Rutgers and other institutions of higher learning, teaching Screenwriting, Cinema and American Studies. Francis Gerard McElhinney (born 19 September 1956) is a former sportsman who played Gaelic football, soccer and was also a boxer. He played Gaelic football for the Derry county team and won two Ulster Senior Football Championships with the county. He also won an All Star Award for his performances in the 1975 All-Ireland Championship. He played club football for St. Mary's Banagher. As a soccer player, he played professionally for Bolton Wanderers, Rochdale, Plymouth Argyle and Peterborough United, and was capped six times by Northern Ireland.
