The Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) is an American organization for female golfers. The organization is headquartered at the LPGA International in Daytona Beach, Florida, and is best known for running the LPGA Tour, a series of weekly golf tournaments for elite female professional golfers from around the world. Dottie Mochrie
Dottie Pepper (born August 17, 1965) is an American professional golfer and television golf broadcaster. From 1988 to 1995 she competed as Dottie Mochrie, which was her married name before a divorce. She won two major championships and 17 LPGA Tour events in all. Amateur career Pepper was born in Saratoga Springs, New York; her father, Don, was a major league baseball player, who appeared on the cover of ''Sports Illustrated'' as a "rookie to watch", along with Hall of Famer Johnny Bench, in 1968. Carolyn Hill (born February 1, 1959) is an American professional golfer who played on the LPGA Tour. Career Hill won the 1979 U.S. Women's Amateur and played on the 1978 U.S. Curtis Cup team. Dana Lofland-Dormann
Dana Lofland Dormann (born September 16, 1967) is an American professional golfer who played on the LPGA Tour. She also played under her maiden name Dana Lofland and as Dana Lofland-Dormann. Lofland won the 1985 U.S. Girls' Junior and the 1985 Junior World Golf Championships (Girls 15–17). Dormann won twice on the LPGA Tour in 1992 and 1993. Dormann is the assistant head coach of the San Jose State University's woman's golf team and her husband John is the head coach. Florence Descampe
Florence Descampe (born 1 September 1969) is a veteran professional golfer from Brussels, Belgium who played on the United States-based LPGA Tour and the Ladies European Tour. Career Descampe had seven worldwide victories during her career including a win at the 1992 McCall's LPGA Classic on the LPGA Tour. Until Paula Creamer's win at the 2005 Evian Masters, she held the record as the LET's youngest winner after clinching the 1988 Danish Ladies Open. Melissa McNamara
Melissa McNamara Luellen (born May 25, 1966) is the head women's golf coach for Auburn University, and a former American professional golfer who played on the LPGA Tour. Career McNamara was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She played college golf at the University of Tulsa where her mother, Dale, was the head coach and was a member of the Chi Omega fraternity. She helped her team win the 1988 NCAA Women's Division I Championship and she won the individual title. These titles were later vacated by the NCAA due to rules violations by the track and field team. McNamara turned professional in 1988 and played on the Futures Tour and Ladies European Tour in 1988 and 1989. She joined the LPGA Tour in 1990. She won once on the LPGA Tour in 1991. After retiring from tournament golf, McNamara became head coach of the University of Tulsa's women's golf team, replacing her mother. Cathy Gerring
Cathy Kratzert Gerring (born April 28, 1961) is an American professional golfer who played on the LPGA Tour. Born Cathy Kratzert, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, she played college golf at Ohio State University. Gerring won three times on the LPGA Tour, all in 1990. She played on the 1990 Solheim Cup team. In April 1992, Gerring was severely burned in a hospitality tent at the LPGA's Sara Lee Classic in Nashville, Tennessee. Due to her injuries, she did not play again on the LPGA Tour until 1996. Gerring's brother, Billy Kratzert, won four times on the PGA Tour. They are one of only two brother/sister pairs to win on both tours (the other is Jim Gallagher Jr. and Jackie Gallagher-Smith).
