Dana Lofland-Dormann
Dana Lofland Dormann (born September 16, 1967) is an American professional golfer who played on the LPGA Tour. She also played under her maiden name Dana Lofland and as Dana Lofland-Dormann. Lofland won the 1985 U.S. Girls' Junior and the 1985 Junior World Golf Championships (Girls 15–17). Dormann won twice on the LPGA Tour in 1992 and 1993. Dormann is the assistant head coach of the San Jose State University's woman's golf team and her husband John is the head coach. She is also a teaching pro at the Pleasanton Golf Center in Pleasanton, California. Oxnard, California
Oxnard () is a city in Ventura County, California, United States. On California's South Coast, it is the most populous city in Ventura County and the 22nd-most-populous city in California. Incorporated in 1903, Oxnard lies approximately west of downtown Los Angeles and is part of the larger Greater Los Angeles area. The 1998 LPGA Tour was the 49th season since the LPGA Tour officially began in 1950. The season ran from January 16 to November 22. The season consisted of 36 official money events. Se Ri Pak and Annika Sörenstam won the most tournaments, four each. Annika Sörenstam led the money list with earnings of $1,092,748. Curtis Cup
The Curtis Cup is the best known team trophy for women amateur golfers, awarded in the biennial Curtis Cup Match. It is co-organised by the United States Golf Association and The R&A and is contested by teams representing the United States and "Great Britain and Ireland". The same two teams originally contested the Ryder Cup, but unlike that competition, the Curtis Cup has not widened the Great Britain and Ireland team to include all Europeans (nor has the analogous event for amateur men, the Walker Cup).
