Maëlle Pistoia (born 4 January 2001), better known as simply Maëlle is a French singer. She is the winner of the of the French version of the talent show ''The Voice''. In April 2019, she released her first single, titled "Toutes les machines ont un cœur" (lit. "All machines have a heart"). Biography Born in January 2001, Maëlle Pistoia is from Tournus in the department of Saône-et-Loire, Burgundy. She has two older sisters. In her childhood she studied piano. 2018: ''The Voice'' Maëlle's musical career started in 2017, when she submitted a video audition for the seventh edition of the French version of ''The Voice'' and became a contestant. ''The Voice : La plus belle voix'' () is a reality singing competition on TF1. It is France's version of '' The Voice'' format created by John de Mol. The first episode was aired on 25 February 2012. It is the second time that the format has been produced in French after the Belgian version '' The Voice Belgique''. One of the important premises of the show is the quality of the singing talent. Four coaches, themselves popular performing artists, train the talents on their team and occasionally perform with them. Talents are selected in blind auditions, where the coaches cannot see, but only hear the auditioning contestant. Tournus
Tournus () is a commune in the Saône-et-Loire department in the region of Bourgogne-Franche-Comté in eastern France. Geography Tournus is located on the right bank of the Saône, 20 km. northeast of Mâcon on the Paris- Lyon railway. "Everybody's Got to Learn Sometime" is a 1980 single written by James Warren and first performed by British pop band the Korgis; Warren was lead singer in the band. It has subsequently been covered by numerous other artists. Background "Everybody's Got to Learn Sometime" features a distinctive synthesizer line as primary sound, based on a prominent keyboards arrangement played by Phil Harrison. The song also is notable for its simple and sparse lyrics, but with a direct message. Related to this, lead singer and bassist James Warren has said that the song took only 10 or 15 minutes to write, literally singing the first thing to come into his mind, as he played both the chords and melodies on the piano.
