Mazhar Nanautawi
Muḥammad Mazhar Nanautawi (1821–1885) was an Indian Muslim scholar and a freedom struggle activist who played a crucial role in the development Mazahir Uloom. He participated in the Battle of Shamli. Biography Muḥammad Mazhar was born into the Siddiqi family of Nanauta in 1821. His father Lutf Ali was a cousin brother of Mamluk Ali Nanautawi. Mazhar memorized the '' Quran'' and received his primary education from his father. He studied with Mamluk Ali Nanautawi at the Delhi College. He studied '' Muwatta Imam Malik'' and few other hadith books with Shah Abd al-Ghani Dehlawi and '' Sahih Bukhari'' with Shah Muḥammad Ishāq Dehlawi. He was an authorized disciple of Rashid Ahmad Gangohi in Sufism. Mazhar was appointed the head teacher of Arabic department of the Government College in Varanasi by Aloys Sprenger. Nanauta
Nanauta is a town and a nagar panchayat (municipality) in Saharanpur district in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. Nanauta is located on Saharanpur Delhi Highway. It is from Saharanpur city. Aloys Sprenger
Aloys Sprenger (born 3 September 1813, in Nassereith, Tyrol; died 19 December 1893 in Heidelberg) was an Austrian Oritentalist. Sprenger studied medicine, natural sciences as well as oriental languages at the University of Vienna. In 1836 he moved to London, where he worked with the Earl of Munster on the latter's ''Geschichte der Kriegswissenschaften bei den mohammedanischen Völkern'', ‘History of Military Science among the Muslim Peoples’, and thence in 1843 to Calcutta, where he became principal of Delhi College. In this capacity he had many textbooks translated into Hindustani from European languages. In 1848 he was sent to Lucknow, to prepare a catalogue of the royal library there, the first volume of which appeared in Calcutta in 1854. Abū Ibrāhīm K͟halīl Aḥmad ibn Majīd ‘Alī Anbahṭawī Sahāranpūrī Muhājir Madanī ( ur, ; December 185213 October 1927) was a Deobandi Hanafi Islamic scholar from India who authored ''Badhl al-Majhud'', an 18-volume commentary on the hadith collection '' Sunan Abi Dawud''. The Nawal Kishore Press (also spelled Newal Kishore Press) was a publishing house founded by Munshi Nawal Kishore in Lucknow, British India, in 1858.
