Zvi Mazel
Zvi Mazel (; born 4 March 1939) is an Israeli diplomat. He has served as the Israeli Ambassador (diplomacy), ambassador to Egypt, Romania, and Sweden. Education and work experience Mazel was born in Bnei Brak, and served in the Israel Defense Forces, IDF from 1956 to 1958. After initial studies in Israel, Mazel studied political science in France, at the Institut d'Études Politiques de Paris (The Parisian Institute for Political Studies). There he met his wife, Michelle, a political scientist and writer. He graduated in 1963, and joined the diplomatic corps of the Israeli Foreign Ministry in 1966, where he served as a researcher at the Foreign Ministry's Institute of Political Research. From 1969 to 1973, he served as First Secretary of the Israeli Embassy in Antananarivo, Madagascar, Antananarivo, Madagascar, and then served as an attache at the Israeli Embassy in Paris until 1977, when he returned to Israel to again serve as a researcher in the Institute of Political Research. ...

Hélène Robert-Mazel
Hélène Robert-Mazel (active 1832-1857) was a French composer, pianist, singer and teacher. She composed songs, a cantata, and educational pieces for children. Her works were listed through at least opus 9. Little is known about Robert-Mazel other than her concert appearances and publications. She performed as a pianist and singer, frequently using her own compositions, at the Strasbourg Theater; “Mrs. Long’s” residence in Berkeley Square in London; and at the Salons de Pape and other venues in Paris. Contemporary reviews noted that she “. . . achieved incredible feats as a singer, as well as a piano player and composer." Robert-Mazel set texts by several authors to music and collaborated (probably in performance) with the brothers Alexandre and Théophile Tilmant (cello and violin), the horn player Louis-François Dauprat, and the singer Laure Cinti-Damoreau. "Mazel tov" () or "mazal tov" (; literal translation, lit. "good fortune") is a Jews, Jewish phrase used to express congratulations for a happy and significant occasion or event. Etymology and pronunciation The word ''mazel'' comes from the Biblical Hebrew , meaning "constellation" or (in Mishnaic Hebrew) "astrological sign" and may be related to the root meaning "to flow down". Maurice Mazel
Maurice Seymour Mazel (1895–1980) was a prominent Chicago heart surgeon who founded Edgewater Hospital. Biography Maurice Mazel was born in Chicago on January 12, 1895. He graduated from Northwestern University in 1916, and from its medical school in 1918. Mazel was treasurer of the corporation that built Edgewater Hospital in Chicago in 1928, and he served as its first medical director. In 1977, investigators from the United States Department of Health, Education, and Welfare found that the hospital had improperly spent Medicare funds on resources used by a private clinic owned by Mazel. The case was not referred for prosecution, but $363,000 in reimbursements were withheld. Mazel died on January 30, 1980, and was entombed at Rosehill Mausoleum. Eugène Mazel
The Bambouseraie de Prafrance (34 hectares, 84 acres) is a private botanical garden specializing in bamboos, located in Générargues, near Anduze, Gard, Languedoc-Roussillon, France. It is open daily in the warmer months; an admission fee is charged.
