Zvi Mazel
Zvi Mazel ( he, צבי מזאל; born 4 March 1939) is an Israeli diplomat. He has served as the Israeli ambassador to Egypt, Romania, and Sweden. Education and work experience Mazel was born in Bnei Brak, and served in the IDF from 1956 to 1958. After initial studies in Israel, Mazel studied political science in France, at the Institut d'Études Politiques de Paris (The Parisian Institute for Political Studies). There he met his wife, Michelle, a political scientist and writer. He graduated in 1963, and joined the diplomatic corps of the Israeli Foreign Ministry in 1966, where he served as a researcher at the Foreign Ministry's Institute of Political Research. From 1969 to 1973, he served as First Secretary of the Israeli Embassy in Antananarivo, Madagascar, and then served as an attache at the Israeli Embassy in Paris until 1977, when he returned to Israel to again serve as a researcher in the Institute of Political Research. Reuben or Reuven ( he, רְאוּבֵן, Standard ''Rəʾūven'', Tiberian ''Rŭʾūḇēn'') was the first of the six sons of Jacob and Leah (Jacob’s oldest son), according to the Book of Genesis. He was the founder of the Israelite Tribe of Reuben. Anna Lindh
Ylva Anna Maria Lindh (19 June 1957 – 11 September 2003) was a Swedish Social Democratic politician and lawyer who served as Minister for Foreign Affairs from 1998 until her death. She was also a Member of the Riksdag (member of parliament) for Södermanland County until her assassination. On 10 September 2003, four days before a referendum on replacing the Swedish krona with the euro as currency, Lindh was stabbed by Mijailo Mijailović at the NK department store in central Stockholm; she died the next morning at Karolinska University Hospital. Anna Lindh had been seen as a likely candidate to succeed Göran Persson as Social Democratic party leader. Her greatest commitment was to international cooperation and solidarity, as well as to environmental issues. Dror Elimelech Feiler ( he, דרור אלימלך פיילר; born 31 August 1951) is an Israeli-born Swedish musician, artist and left-wing activist. He is married to the artist Gunilla Sköld-Feiler. Early life and career Feiler was born in Tel Aviv in 1951 to Eliezer and Pnina Feiler, and moved with his family to kibbutz Yad Hana in 1967. His father, Eliezer Feiler, was a left-wing activist. In 1978, he and others secretly met with a group of Palestine Liberation Organization representatives in Bucharest while it was still illegal. Eliezer Feiler was tried and eventually sentenced to six months of community service and a Israeli pound, IL4,000 fine. Snow White And The Madness Of Truth
''Snow White and the Madness of Truth'' ( sv, Snövit och sanningens vansinne) was a 2004 item of installation art by Swedish, Israeli-born composer and musician Dror Feiler and his Swedish wife, artist Gunilla Sköld-Feiler. Feiler and Sköld-Feiler created the visuals and the music for the artwork together, which was installed in the Swedish History Museum in Stockholm, Sweden. The installation consisted of a long pool of water coloured blood red, upon which floated a small white boat named "Snövit" ("Snow White") carrying a smiling portrait of Hanadi Jaradat, a Palestinian suicide bomber who murdered 21 people. A text was written on the walls, and the sound of Bach's '' Mein Herze schwimmt im Blut'' (Cantata 199) played in the background. Knutby Murder
The Knutby murder ( sv, Knutbydramat) refers to a murder in the village of Knutby east of Uppsala in Sweden, on January 10, 2004. Murder and arrests At around 04:40 in the morning, 30-year-old IT entrepreneur Daniel Linde was shot in the head and chest and seriously wounded. Two hours later it was discovered that his employee and neighbor Alexandra Fossmo had also been shot and was found dead in her bed. The murdered woman was married to Helge Fossmo, a pastor in a local Pentecostal church. Her husband had left with Daniel Linde in the ambulance to the hospital. Helge Fossmo
Helge Arnold Fossmo (born 27 July 1971) is a Pentecostal pastor sentenced to life imprisonment for solicitation of the Knutby murder in Sweden in 2004. Life before Knutby Helge Fossmo was born to Norwegian parents in the village of Björneborg, close to Kristinehamn in Värmland County. The family was not particularly religious, but when he was about ten years old Fossmo joined the scouting organization of the Mission Covenant Church in Björneborg. Not long before he turned twelve he became a " born again" Christian. He went to high school in Kristinehamn, where he volunteered at a Christian youth café.
