Maysam Baou
Maysam Baou ( fa, میثم بائو, born 19 September 1983) is a retired Iranian football player. Club career He started to shine when Shamushak was promoted to Persian Gulf Cup in 2003–04 season and moved to Esteghlal where he stayed for three seasons and became known after Tehran derby in 2004–05 season. He had an unsuccessful in UAE where he moved back to Iran and Rah Ahan halfway through. He moved to Aboomoslem the season after. He moved to Persepolis in summer 2009 and spending one season in Persepolis. In 2010, he moved to Shahrdari Tabriz and was one of the key players of the team in two seasons. After Shahrdari's relegation to the Azadegan League, Baou signed a three years contract with his former team, Esteghlal. He played for Esteghlal one season but he left the team after end of the season and joined to Tractor Sazi. International career He started his international career in WAFF 2007. Qaemshahr
Qaem Shahr ( fa, قائمشهر, also Romanized as Qā’em Shahr; formerly known as Shāhi ( fa, شاهی) is a city and capital of Qaem Shahr County, Mazandaran Province, Iran. At the 2016 census, its population was 247,953. Originally known as Aliyabad, the name Ŝâhi (Shahi) was used until the Iranian Revolution in 1979 when the city acquired its current name. The city is situated north-east of Tehran; southeast of Babol; and south west of Sari which is the capital of Mazandaran province. In 1951, Qa'em Shahr's population was around 18,000, growing to 123,684 in 1991. Azadegan League
The Azadegan League ( fa, ليگ آزادگان, ''Lig-e Âzâdegân''), also known as League 1 ( fa, لیگ یک, ''Lig-e Yek''), is the second highest division of professional football in Iran. It was the top-level football league in Iran from its foundation in 1991 until 2001, when the Persian Gulf Pro League was established. Each year, the top finishing teams in the Azadegan League are promoted to the Persian Gulf Pro League, and the lowest finishing teams are relegated to League 2. Since 2016, the league comprises 18 teams. The winner and the runner-up of the Azadegan League are automatically promoted to the Persian Gulf Pro League. West Asian Football Federation Championship
The West Asian Football Federation Championship (), or simply WAFF Championship, is an international association football competition contested by the senior men's national teams of the members of the West Asian Football Federation (WAFF), the governing body of football in Western Asia. The championship has been held, on average, every two years. The current champion is Bahrain, having defeated hosts Iraq in the 2019 final. The most successful team is Iran, with four titles; however, they do not compete in the competition anymore as they are no longer members of the WAFF. 2013–14 Hazfi Cup
The 2013–14 Hazfi Cup was the 27th season of the Iranian football knockout competition. Sepahan was the defending champion, but was eliminated by Sanat Naft in Round of 32. The competition started on 4 September 2013 and ended on 14 February 2014. Tractor won the title with defeating Mes Kerman in the final. 2009–10 Hazfi Cup
The 2009–10 Hazfi Cup was the 23rd season of the Iranian football knockout competition. Zob Ahan Isfahan was the defending champion. The cup winner were guaranteed a place in the 2011 AFC Champions League. Participating teams Totally 115 teams got permission to participate in the season “2009–10 Hazfi Cup”. Hazfi Cup
Hazfi Cup (Jām-e Hazfi; ) is the Iranian football knockout cup competition, run by the Iranian Football Federation. The Iranian football league was not held during the 1980s, hence the winner of Hazfi Cup represented Iran in the Asian Club Championship. After the revive of the league system, the champion of Iranian league qualified for Asian Club Championship and the winner of Hazfi Cup ran for Asian Cup Winners' Cup. However, the Asian Cup Winners' Cup merged with the Asian Champions Cup in 2002–03 to form the AFC Champions League and Iran had been initially given two (and later four) slots in this competitions. The IRIFF decided to award one of Iran's AFC Champions League spots to the winner of the Hazfi Cup, and since then, the winners of Hazfi Cup have always been allocated a spot in the AFC Champions League. The 2005–06 Iran Pro League was the 23rd season of Iran's Football League and fifth as Iran Pro League since its establishment in 2001. Foolad were the defending champions.
