Mayor Mohammed Hanif Flyover
The Mayor Mohammed Hanif Flyover is the largest Overpass, flyover in Bangladesh. Its foundation stone was laid in 2010 by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. The flyover was initiated in 1998. It partially opened on 11 October 2013. It is built for easy transportation and communication purposes for the 30 southern and south-western districts of Bangladesh. Orion Group is one of the largest Bangladeshi industrial conglomerates. The industries under this conglomerate include Orion Pharma Ltd, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, infrastructure development, agribusiness, hospitality, textiles, aviation etc. Orion was established by Obaidul Karim, the chairman of the group, and Salman Obaidul Karim, his the managing director. The Bangladeshi taka ( bn, টাকা, sign: , code: BDT, short form: Tk) is the currency of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. In Unicode, it is encoded at . Issuance of bank notes 10 and larger is controlled by Bangladesh Bank, while the 2 and 5 banknotes are the responsibility of the ministry of finance of the government of Bangladesh. The banknotes of Tk. 2 and Tk.5 have mostly been replaced by coins while lower denomination coins (including all poysha coins) up to Tk. 1 have almost gone out of circulation due to inflation.
