Maylin Wende
Maylin Wende (née Hausch) (born 22 September 1988) is a German pair skater. With husband and partner Daniel Wende, she is the 2010 Trophée Eric Bompard bronze medalist, the 2013 Nebelhorn Trophy silver medalist, and a two-time German national champion. They have competed twice at the Winter Olympics (2010, 2014) and have placed as high as sixth at the European Championships (2011, 2014). Career Early career Maylin Hausch began skating in 1992. She skated in singles until 2006, finishing as high as fourth in Junior Ladies at the 2004 German Junior and Novice National Championships. Hausch took up pair skating at age 17. Her first skating partner was Steffen Hörmann, with whom she was the 2006 German junior national champion. He decided to quit after that competition. Germany competed at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia, from 7 to 23 February 2014. The first round of nominations was on 18 December, the second round on 23 January. Steve Jablonsky
Steve Jablonsky (born October 9, 1970) is an American composer for film, television and video games, best known for his musical scores in the ''Transformers'' film series. Some of his frequent collaboration partners include film directors Michael Bay and Peter Berg, and fellow composer Hans Zimmer. Early life Jablonsky's mother was born in a Japanese internment camp. He went to the University of California, Berkeley for college and studied computer science at first, but switched to music composition a year later. After graduation, he became an intern at Hans Zimmer's Remote Control Productions, after cold calling the studio to ask if they needed any help. Spinal disc herniation is an injury to the cushioning and connective tissue between vertebrae, usually caused by excessive strain or trauma to the spine. Mari-Doris Vartmann (born 25 December 1988) is a German pair skater. With Ruben Blommaert, she won four ISU Challenger Series medals. With Aaron Van Cleave, she is the 2015 German national champion, the 2011 NRW Trophy champion, and 2010 Warsaw Cup champion. Personal life Vartmann was born on 25 December 1988 in Neuss, West Germany. She is of German and Japanese descent.
