Mayank Markande
Mayank Markande (born 11 November 1997) is an Indian cricketer. Markande comes from from Patiala. He studied in Yadavindra Public School and was part of the school's cricket team. He made his international debut for the India cricket team in February 2019. He first attracted wider attention in the IPL 2018 opening match after taking the wicket of MS Dhoni. Domestic career Markande made his Twenty20 debut for Punjab in the 2017–18 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy on 14 January 2018. In January 2018, he was bought by Mumbai Indians in the 2018 IPL auction He made his List A debut for Punjab in the 2017–18 Vijay Hazare Trophy on 7 February 2018 in Bengaluru. and made his debut for the side during the season. First-class cricket, along with List A cricket and Twenty20 cricket, is one of the highest-standard forms of cricket. A first-class match is one of three or more days' scheduled duration between two sides of eleven players each and is officially adjudged to be worthy of the status by virtue of the standard of the competing teams. Matches must allow for the teams to play two innings each, although in practice a team might play only one innings or none at all. The Australia cricket team toured India from February and March 2019 to play two Twenty20 International (T20I) and five One Day International (ODI) matches. The ODI fixtures were part of both teams' preparation for the 2019 Cricket World Cup. Australia won the T20I series 2–0, their first T20I series win against India. A Twenty20 International (T20I) is a form of cricket, played between two of the international members of the International Cricket Council (ICC), in which each team faces a maximum of twenty overs. The matches have top-class status and are the highest T20 standard. The game is played under the rules of Twenty20 cricket. Starting from the format's inception in 2005, T20I status only applied to Full Members and some Associate Member teams. 2018 ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup
The 2018 ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup was the third edition of the ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup held in Karachi, Pakistan and Colombo, Sri Lanka. Eight teams participated in the tournament including five under-23 age level teams of Test nations and top three teams from 2018 Asia Cup Qualifier. This tournament was organized by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC). Initially, Pakistan was sole host for the tournament but India and BCCI refused to send Indian players to Pakistan. The 2019–20 Deodhar Trophy was the 47th edition of the Deodhar Trophy, a List A cricket competition in India. It was contested between three teams selected by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). It took place in October and November 2019, after the Duleep Trophy and before the Ranji Trophy.
