Maya Lokam
''Mayalokam'' () is a 1945 Telugu-language film produced and directed by Gudavalli Ramabrahmam under the Sarathi Films banner. It stars Akkineni Nageswara Rao and S. Varalakshmi, with music composed by Galipenchala Narasimha Rao. The film is the debut of veteran actor and producer Padmanabham. The film was recorded as a ''Super Hit'' at the box office. Plot Sambaripura King, Kambhoja Raju (Govindarajula Subba Rao) has seven wives and six children (from his first six wives). When his youngest wife, Manikyamba (Kannamba) is pregnant, Rajaguru (M. C. Raghavan) predicts that her son would be the next king. Upset at this, the eldest wife ("Radio" Bhanumathi), who feels that her son Navabhoja Raju (C. S. Gudavalli Ramabrahmam
Gudavalli Ramabrahmam was an Indian film film director, director, screenwriter, and film producer, producer who worked in Telugu cinema. He is known for directing critically acclaimed social problem films like ''Mala Pilla'' (1938) and ''Raithu Bidda'' (1939). At a time when mythological films were ruling the roost, Ramabrahmam ushered in a new era in Telugu cinema by making films on contemporary social issues. In 1937, he founded the film production company Sarathi Studios#Sarathi Films, Sarathi Films along with Raja of Challapalli, Yarlagadda Sivarama Prasad, Yaralagadda Sivarama Prasad. Pasupuleti Kannamba (''Pasupulēţi Kannāṃba'') (5 October 1911 – 7 May 1968) was an Indian actress, playback singer and film producer of Telugu cinema, of Andhra Pradesh, India. She acted in more than 170 films and produced about 25 films in Telugu and Tamil languages during the 1930s to the 1960s. Career Kannamba was born in Eluru. She started acting in dramas at the age of 13. She performed many characters such as Sati Savitri, Anasuya and Chandramati. Santha Kumari (born Vellaala Subbamma; 17 May 1920 – 16 January 2006) was an Indian musical artist and actress. She was married to the Telugu film director and producer P. Pullayya. Early years Vellaala Subbamma was born in Proddatur town, (Kadapa District, Andhra Pradesh) to Sreenivasa Rao and Pedda Narasamma. Her father was an actor and her mother was a classical music singer. Vedantam Raghavayya ( te, వేదాంతం రాఘవయ్య) (8 June 1919 – 1971) was an Indian film director, dance choreographer, Kuchipudi exponent, actor, producer, and musician known for his works in Telugu cinema, Telugu theatre, and Tamil cinema. Akkineni Nageswara Rao (20 September 1923 – 22 January 2014), widely known as ANR, was an Indian actor and producer, known for his works majorly in Telugu cinema. He starred in many landmark films in his seventy five-year career, and became one of the most prominent figures of Telugu cinema. Nageswara Rao received seven state Nandi Awards, and five Filmfare Awards South.
