''Maximum Velocity (V-Max)'' () is a 2002 Italian drama film directed by Daniele Vicari. It entered the competition at the 59th Venice International Film Festival. For this film Vicari won the 2003 David di Donatello for best new director. The film also won two Nastro d'Argento Awards, for best producer and best editing. Daniele Vicari (born 26 February 1967) is an Italian director, screenwriter and producer. Life and career Born in Collegiove, Province of Rieti, Vicari graduated from Rome's University La Sapienza in History and Critics of Cinema under Guido Aristarco. Between 1990 and 1999 he was a film critic for the magazines ''Cinema Nuovo'' and ''Cinema 60'', and in the same period he filmed his first shorts. Princess Isabella Orsini de Ligne de La Trémoïlle (born 2 December 1974) is an Italian actress. By marriage, she is a member of the House of Ligne, a Belgian noble family. Enio Girolami (14 January 1935 – 16 February 2013), sometimes credited as Thomas Moore, was an Italian film and television actor. Born in Rome, son of director Marino Girolami and brother of director Enzo G. Castellari, Girolami made his film debut at 18 with a role of weight in '' Fratelli d'Italia'' by Fausto Saraceni. Alessia Barela (born 13 June 1974) is an Italian actress. Her credits include the television series '' Carlo & Malik'', ''Tutti pazzi per amore'' and ''Inspector Rex'' and the films ''Past Perfect'', '' Summer Games'' and ''Maximum Velocity (V-Max)''.
