Maxime Ouellet
Maxime Ouellet (born June 17, 1981) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey goaltender who played in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the Philadelphia Flyers, Washington Capitals and Vancouver Canucks from 2000 to 2006. He also played several years in the American Hockey League, retiring in 2009. Internationally he played for the Canadian national junior team at both the 2000 and 2001 World Junior Championships, winning a bronze medal each year. Playing career As a youth, Ouellet played in the 1994 and 1995 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournaments with a minor ice hockey team from Beauport, Quebec City. Ouellet was drafted by the Philadelphia Flyers in the first round, 22nd overall at the 1999 NHL Entry Draft. 1999 NHL Entry Draft
The 1999 NHL Entry Draft was the 37th NHL Entry Draft. It was held on June 26 at the FleetCenter in Boston. According to ''Sports Illustrated'' and other sports news agencies, at the time the 1999 draft was considered one of the deepest in talent in years, headed by Patrik Stefan and the Sedin twins, Daniel and Henrik. As a result of the draft lottery, the first three picks going into draft day were held by the Tampa Bay Lightning, the Atlanta Thrashers expansion team, and the Vancouver Canucks, respectively. The Canucks were determined to select both Sedins and therefore initiated a trading carousel involving multiple teams. After the trading was done, the Lightning had traded out of the first round altogether while the Thrashers held the first overall pick. Mississippi Sea Wolves
The Mississippi Sea Wolves are a professional hockey team based in Biloxi, Mississippi, and play in the Mississippi Coast Coliseum. The Sea Wolves are members of the FPHL. They are a revival of a team by the same name that played in the ECHL, making them a phoenix club. The EC Kassel Huskies are a professional ice hockey club based in Kassel, Hessen, Germany. The club currently competes in DEL2, the second level of ice hockey in Germany. Dov Grumet-Morris (born February 28, 1982) is an American former professional ice hockey goaltender who played in the American Hockey League (AHL). He played ten years of professional hockey in North America and Europe. Early life Grumet-Morris, who is Jewish, was born in Evanston, Illinois, to Ken Grumet, an internist specializing in geriatric medicine who in college was a goaltender for City College of New York, and Mary Morris, a prosecutor. Maxime Lacroix (born June 5, 1987) is a Canadian-French professional ice hockey left winger currently playing for Saint-Georges Cool FM 103.5 in the Ligue Nord-Américaine de Hockey (LNAH). He was drafted by the Washington Capitals in the fifth round of the 2006 NHL Entry Draft with the 127th pick overall. He is the son of the former NHL player, Pierre Lacroix. Playing career Born in Quebec City, Quebec, Lacroix spent his junior career (2004–07) with the Quebec Remparts of the QMJHL.
