Maxim Spiridonov
Maxim Vladimirovich Spiridonov (russian: Максим Владимирович Спиридонов; born April 7, 1978) is a Russians, Russia professional ice hockey Forward (ice hockey), forward. Career Spiridonov began his career with CSKA Moscow playing in their 2nd team. He moved onto play junior hockey for the Smiths Falls Bears in the Canadian Junior Hockey League and the London Knights of the Ontario Hockey League before he was drafted by the Edmonton Oilers, 241st overall, in 1998 NHL Entry Draft, 1998. Spiridonov spent the next three seasons playing in the minor leagues, suiting up for the Grand Rapids Griffins, Springfield Falcons, Tallahassee Tiger Sharks and the Hamilton Bulldogs (AHL), Hamilton Bulldogs. He never managed to play in the NHL however and in 2001, Spiridonov returned to Russia. Spiridonov now works as a scout for the OHL's Kitchener Rangers. The Kitchener Rangers are a major junior ice hockey team based in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. They are members of the Midwest Division of the Western Conference of the Ontario Hockey League. Tallahassee Tiger Sharks
The Tallahassee Tiger Sharks were a minor league professional ice hockey team that played in Tallahassee, Florida, from 1994 to 2001 as members of the East Coast Hockey League. The Tiger Sharks home rink was the Tallahassee-Leon County Civic Center. While in Tallahassee, the franchise was affiliated with the NHL's New York Islanders, Florida Panthers, and Montreal Canadiens. Since the loss of the Tiger Sharks franchise, several attempts have been made by local residents to bring ice hockey back to Tallahassee. Thus far, none of these efforts have been successful. The Springfield Falcons were a former ice hockey team in the American Hockey League (AHL) and played in Springfield, Massachusetts, at the MassMutual Center. In 2016, the Falcons' franchise was purchased by the National Hockey League (NHL)'s Arizona Coyotes and relocated to Tucson, Arizona, before the start of the 2016–17 AHL season. The Ontario Hockey League (OHL; french: Ligue de hockey de l'Ontario (LHO)) is one of the three major junior ice hockey leagues which constitute the Canadian Hockey League. London Knights
The London Knights are a junior ice hockey team from London, Ontario, Canada, playing in the Ontario Hockey League, one of the leagues of the Canadian Hockey League. The Knights started out in 1965 as the London Nationals but changed to their current name in 1968. The Knights have won two Memorial Cup championships. The Canadian Junior Hockey League (CJHL) is an association of Canadian junior A ice hockey leagues and teams and was formed in November 1993, emerging from the Canada West Association of Junior 'A' Hockey. The champion of the Canadian Junior Hockey League wins the Centennial Cup. The CJHL spans the majority of Canada, from the Prairies to the Atlantic Coast. Smiths Falls Bears
The Smiths Falls Bears are a Junior "A" ice hockey team from Smiths Falls, Ontario, Canada. They are a part of the Central Canada Hockey League. The team was an original member of the league, but then left Smiths Falls in 1976. The team then rejoined the league in 1985, and later had a short two-year stint in Lanark before returning to Smiths Falls. History The origins of the Smiths Falls Bears trace back to when the Central Junior Hockey League was formed in 1961 under the direction of the Montreal Canadiens.
