Max Salminen
Max Salminen (born 22 September 1988) is a Swedish competitive sailor. He was born in Lund. He competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, winning the star class together with Fredrik Lööf. In 2016, he competed in the men's Finn at the Rio Olympics where he finished in 6th place. Finn (dinghy)
The Finn dinghy is a single-handed, cat-rigged sailboat, and a former Olympic class for men's sailing. Since its debut at the 1952 Summer Olympics in Helsinki, the Finn has featured in every summer Olympics, making it the longest serving dinghy in the Olympic Regatta and one of the most prolific Olympic sailboats, currently filling the slot for the Heavyweight Dinghy. The Finn is a physically demanding boat to race at the highest levels, especially since the class rules now allow unlimited boat rocking and sail pumping when the wind is above 10 knots. The event will not feature on the Olympic programme from 2024. ISAF Sailing World Championships
The Sailing World Championships (formerly ISAF Sailing World Championships) are World championships in sailing for the 10 events contested at the Summer Olympics, organized by World Sailing (formerly ISAF) and held every four years since 2003. Sara Anneli Algotsson Ostholt (born 8 December 1974 in Rockneby, Sweden) is a Swedish equestrian. At the 2012 Summer Olympics she competed in both the Equestrian at the 2012 Summer Olympics – Team eventing, team and the Equestrian at the 2012 Summer Olympics – Individual eventing, individual eventing. Algotsson won a silver medal in the individual eventing. She is the younger sister of fellow rider Linda Algotsson. She is married to German equestrian Frank Ostholt. She lost one of her lead horses in a vehicle fire while on the way to a competition. The probable cause of the fire was stated as a mechanical issue. Malin Therese Alshammar (born 26 August 1977) is a Swedish swimmer who has won three Olympic medals, 25 World Championship medals, and 43 European Championship medals. She is a specialist in short distances races in freestyle and butterfly. She is coached by former Swedish swimmer Johan Wallberg. She is the first female swimmer and the third overall (after Lars Frölander and Derya Büyükuncu) to participate in six Olympic Games. Santander () is the capital of the autonomous community and historical region of Cantabria situated on the north coast of Spain. Weymouth and Portland was a local government district and borough in Dorset, England. It consisted of the resort of Weymouth and the Isle of Portland, and includes the areas of Wyke Regis, Preston, Melcombe Regis, Upwey, Broadwey, Southill, Nottington, Westham, Radipole, Chiswell, Castletown, Fortuneswell, Weston, Southwell and Easton; the latter six being on the Isle of Portland.
