Max M was the music project of composer Max Møller Rasmussen, based in Odense, Denmark. He released two albums studio albums for Hard Records titled ''Technology Is God'' and ''Max M Corporation'', respectively released in 1992 and 1994. History Max M was founded by Danish composer Max Møller Rasmussen in as a solo outlet for his work. He self-released the EP ''Get Wild'' on vinyl record. and contained the guitar contributions of Carsten Lassen, who helped Rasmussen record his previous release. Max M released his debut studio album, titled ''Technology Is God'', for Hard Records in 1992. Max M also released the off-album track "Atomic Playboy" to the Danish music compilation ''Cyberworld'' by Playground Records. In 1994 Max M released ''Max M Corporation'', which contained a graphic novel and accompanying music on its multimedia CD-ROM. ''Max M Corporation'' is the second studio album by Max M, released on January 1, 1994 on Hard Records. On April 18, 1995 Fifth Colvmn Records reissued ''Max M Corporation'' with alternate cover art. Music The compositions of ''Max M Corporation'' are intended to share the mood generated by the graphic novel contained on the album's multimedia CD-ROM. Both CD issues contain the novel and can be accessed using a IBM PC compatible computer. The compositions "A Day on the Net" and "The Rookie SpaceCadet" were respectively released on 1995's ''Electro Industrial Assassins'' and 1996's ''Hard Target: A Collection of Electronic and Industrial Music From Hard Records'', both various artists compilations by Cleopatra Records. Schwann Catalog
The ''Schwann Catalog'' (previously ''Schwann Long Playing Record Catalog'' or later ''Schwann Record And Tape Guide'') was a catalog of recordings started by William Schwann in 1949. The first edition was hand-typed and 26 pages long, and it listed 674 long-playing records (see LP record). By the late 1970s, over 150,000 record albums had been listed in Schwann. The company was honored by the record industry both at the 25th anniversary (1974) and 35th anniversary (1984). The Schwann Catalog changed hands several times, sold in 1976, then again in the late 1980s to Stereophile, then to Valley Media in the 1990s. In 2002, the company was purchased at a bankruptcy auction by Alliance Entertainment Corporation. Fifth Colvmn Records was a record label based in Washington, DC. The label was founded in 1990 by Zalman Fishman, owner of the nightclub FIFTH COLVMN, located in Washington D.C. The label's first release was Chemlab's debut EP Ten Ton Pressure. Jared Hendrickson of Chemlab also became the general manager for the label. Chemlab later played several dates with Nine Inch Nails, eventually attracting a distribution deal for their next release, Burn Out at the Hydrogen Bar, with Metal Blade Records. The band Thud was the next artist to join the label.
