Anders Hove (born 16 January 1956) is a Greenlandic actor and director. Hove is best known for his role of the vampire Radu Vladislas in the four '' Subspecies''-movies, Cesar Faison in ABC's '' General Hospital'', '' Loving'', & ''Port Charles'' and in the film '' In the Middle of the Night'' as Nalle. Early life Anders Hove was born in Greenland on 16 January 1956 to Birthe Hovea, a nurse, and Anders Hove, who worked as a meteorologist. His father was politically involved in Greenland and helped the country work toward the government it has today. Spending most of his childhood there, Anders later moved with his parents to Thisted in Denmark when he was 14 years old. The Danish Film Database ( da, Filmdatabasen, formerly Danish National Filmography, Danish: ''Danmarks Nationalfilmografi''), is a database maintained by the Danish Film Institute (DFI) about Danish films since 1896 including silent films, short films, and documentary films. When it went online in November 2000, it included data on all 1,000 Danish films produced between 1968 and 2000, and 10,000 persons, which by 2014 had been expanded to 22,000 titles, 106,000 persons and 6,000 companies. A media gallery with photos, programmes, poster scans, and trailers is available. The database also includes information on premiere dates for foreign films in Danish cinemas since 2000. ''Terribly Happy'' ( da, Frygtelig lykkelig) is a 2008 Danish crime film directed by Henrik Ruben Genz, based on Erling Jepsen's novel of the same name from 2004. Plot Copenhagen policeman Robert Hansen has been reassigned by his supervisor, the chief of police in Tonder, to a temporary post as the sole police officer in the village of Skarrild, situated in a boggy lowland. Robert was just out of therapy for a breakdown he suffered after threatening his wife and her lover with a gun. He longs for his stay here to be over quickly so that he can reunite with his daughter, Josefine, who has been told he is in Australia. In Skarrild, Robert meets some of the unusual locals, Dr. Zerleng and his two cronies, the grocer and the priest, who are looking for him to become the fourth player in their regular card game. 62nd Bodil Awards
The 62nd Bodil Awards were held on 1 March 2009 in Imperial Cinema in Copenhagen, Denmark, honouring the best national and foreign films of 1009. Lasse Rimmer hosted the event. Henrik Ruben Genz's '' Terribly Happy'' was the big winner at the ceremony, receiving both the award for Best Film and for Best Actor and Actress in leading roles. Caroline Henderson (singer)
Caroline Henderson (born 28 February 1962) is a Danish–Swedish pop and jazz singer. She moved to Copenhagen from Sweden in 1983 and spent her youth singing in various jazz bands. Her breakthrough was in 1989 as part of pop group Ray Dee Ohh. After the group disbanded, Henderson launched a solo career with multi award-winning album ''Cinemataztic'' (1995) featuring smash hits "Kiss Me Kiss Me" and "Made in Europe". Follow-up ''Metamorphing'' (1998), disco cover album ''Dolores J - The Butterfly'' (2000) and the more experimental ''Naos'' (2002) didn't have the same commercial impact. William Horn (actor)
William Austin Horn (1841–1922) was an Australian mining magnate, pastoralist, politician, author, sculptor and philanthropist. Somewhat eccentric, in 1892 he was the donor of a copy of Antonio Canova's Venus, Adelaide's then controversial first public statue, which is still on display on North Terrace, Adelaide. Horn also built Wairoa, Aldgate, known for its magnificent gardens and captured in a watercolour by William Tibbits. Family Horn was born 26 February 1841 at Menaroo (an old name for the Monaro district), New South Wales, to Edward Kirk Horn, a storekeeper, and his wife Emily, née Austin. The family moved to South Australia in 1852, where Horn was educated at the Collegiate School of St Peter.
