Caroline Henderson (singer)
Caroline Henderson (born 28 February 1962) is a Danish–Swedish pop and jazz singer. She moved to Copenhagen from Sweden in 1983 and spent her youth singing in various jazz bands. Her breakthrough was in 1989 as part of pop group Ray Dee Ohh. After the group disbanded, Henderson launched a solo career with multi award-winning album ''Cinemataztic'' (1995) featuring smash hits "Kiss Me Kiss Me" and "Made in Europe". Follow-up ''Metamorphing'' (1998), disco cover album ''Dolores J - The Butterfly'' (2000) and the more experimental ''Naos'' (2002) didn't have the same commercial impact. A new turn saw Henderson develop into a full-fledged jazz singer on albums ''Don't Explain'' (2003), ''Made in Europe'' (2004), ''Love Or Nothin’'' (2006) and ''No. 8'' (2008). Haakon Ericsson (Old Norse: ''Hákon EirÃksson''; no, HÃ¥kon Eiriksson; died c. 1029–1030) was the last Earl of Lade and governor of Norway from 1012 to 1015 and again from 1028 to 1029 as a vassal under Danish King Knut the Great. Biography HÃ¥kon Eiriksson was from a dynasty of Norwegian rulers in the eastern part of Trondheim, bordering the Trondheimsfjord. He was the son of Eirik HÃ¥konson, ruler of Norway and earl of Northumbria. His mother is commonly believed to have been Gytha, a daughter of Sweyn Forkbeard and Sigrid the Haughty of Denmark and half-sister of King Knut. After the Battle of Svolder, Eirik HÃ¥konson, with his brother Sveinn Hákonarson, became kings of Norway under Sweyn Forkbeard. In 1014 or 1015 Eirik HÃ¥konson left Norway and joined Knut for his campaign in England. The north English earldom of Northumbria was given by Knut to Eirik after he won control of the north.
