Mauro Jaqueson Júnior Ferreira dos Santos (born 6 May 1999), commonly known as Mauro Júnior, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a left back or a left winger for PSV Eindhoven. Club career On 23 June 2017, Mauro Júnior signed a five-year contract with PSV until 2022. He was sent out on a season-long loan to fellow Eredivisie club Heracles Almelo for the 2019–20 season. On 20 September 2019, he scored a brace as Heracles defeated local rivals FC Twente by a score of 3–2. On 24 September 2020, Mauro Júnior scored his side's second goal in a 5–1 away win over NŠ Mura in the third qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League. The 2015 South American Under-17 Football Championship ( es, Campeonato Sudamericano Sub-17 Paraguay 2015, pt-BR, Campeonato Sul-Americano Sub-17 Paraguay 2015) was the 16th edition of the biennial international youth football tournament organized by CONMEBOL for players aged 17 and below. The Johan Cruyff Shield (, ) is a football trophy in the Netherlands named after Dutch footballer Johan Cruyff, also often referred to as the Dutch Super Cup. The winner is decided in one match only, played by the winner of the national football league, Eredivisie, and the winner of the national KNVB Cup. During the 2018–19 season, PSV Eindhoven participated in the Eredivisie, the KNVB Cup, the Johan Cruyff Shield and the UEFA Champions League. Season summary The season was Mark van Bommel's first season as manager of PSV. He replaced Philip Cocu, who joined Fenerbahçe after five seasons at PSV, during which the club won three national titles.
