Maurice Blieck
Maurits (Maurice) Blieck (19 April 1913 in Bruges – 25 July 1977 in Bruges) was a Belgian football player. He used to be a forward. Career Blieck made his debut at the highest level of Belgian football in the 1933–34 season, in a 4–0 home win against Tilleur. Blieck scored twice. In his next two seasons for Cercle Brugge, Blieck would become team top scorer. His son Roger would later also become top scorer twice for Cercle. Belgian Second Division
The Belgian Second Division (known as the Proximus League for sponsorship reasons) was the second-highest division in the Belgian football league system, one level below the Belgian Pro League. It was founded by the Royal Belgian Football Association in 1909 and folded in 2016, when it was replaced by the Belgian First Division B. History The second division was created in 1909 and was known as the Promotion nl, bevordering at the time. From 1923 on there were two leagues in that division (called Promotion A and Promotion B). Arthur Ruysschaert
Arthur Ruysschaert (born 21 February 1910 in Bruges – died 10 January 1995 in Bruges) was a Belgian footballer. His position on the field was striker. Ruysschaert made his debut at the highest level of Belgian football on 18 April 1926, when he played with Cercle Brugge in a 3–2 home win against RSC Anderlecht. With Cercle he won the league twice (1927, 1930), the cup once (1927) and the second division once (1938). Arthur Ruysschaert is the only player who is in the top 10 most appearances ever as well as in the top 10 most goals ever for Cercle Brugge. He ended his career with Belgian coast side VG Oostende. After his footballing career, Ruysschaert became youth coach at Cercle Brugge.
