Maurice Acker
Maurice Acker (born June 25, 1987) is an American professional basketball player for Lille Métropole BC. He was a standout college player for the Marquette Golden Eagles. He played high school basketball at Hillcrest High School, a teammate of Marquette alumni Jerel McNeal. He was drafted in the eighth round of the 2010 NBA D League Draft by the Bakersfield Jam, but was waived in November of that year. College career Maurice averaged 9.2 points, 4.6 assists and 2.4 rebounds in 31.7 minutes and started in all 28 games as a freshman at Ball State University. He was named Mid-American Conference Freshman of the Year in 2005–06. After his freshman season he transferred to Marquette University and sat out the 2006–07 season before suiting up as a sophomore in 2007–08. HTV Basket
Hyères-Toulon Var Basket, also referred to as simply Hyères-Toulon or HTV, is a basketball club based in Hyères and Toulon, France. Created by the merger of Omni Sport Hyerois and Club Sportif Toulonnais, the club shares its home games between the Espace 3000 in Hyères and the Palais des Sports in Toulon. After several years in the LNB Pro A and LNB Pro B, the professional section of the club was dissolved in 2018. History Hyères-Toulon was promoted to the Pro A as the regular season champion of the 2015–16 LNB Pro B season. In the 2016–17 Pro A season, the club ended 15th in the standings which was enough to avoid relegation. In the 2017–18 season, HTV ended last in the standings with only 6 wins. Overseas Elite was an American basketball team that participated in The Basketball Tournament (TBT), an annual winner-take-all single-elimination tournament. The team won the tournament four consecutive times: 2015 (prize money $1 million), 2016 ($2 million), 2017 ($2 million), and 2018 ($2 million). The Basketball Tournament
The Basketball Tournament (TBT) is an open-application, single-elimination tournament played each summer in the United States. The 2022 edition features 64 teams with a $1 million winner-take-all prize, broadcast by ESPN. TBT was founded in 2014 by Jonathan Mugar. Format Teams in TBT are arranged by the general manager, sometimes based on which college basketball program the players competed for. The tournament has had as many as 97 teams, in 2015, and as few as 24 teams, in 2020. Since 2016, the tournament has most often used a 64-team field. In 2019, the 64 teams were divided into eight regions, with each regional winner advancing to the championship venue. In 2020, the tournament field was reduced to 24 teams with all games played at a single venue, due to the COVID-19 pandemic in the United States. The Golden Eagles are an American basketball team that participates in The Basketball Tournament (TBT), an annual winner-take-all single-elimination tournament. The team first played in the tournament in 2016, was the runner-up in 2019, and won the championship (and $1 million prize) in 2020. Jerel McNeal (born June 1, 1987) is an American professional basketball player for Ironi Nahariya of the Israeli Basketball Premier League. He played college basketball for Marquette University before playing professionally in Belgium, the NBA D-League, Italy, China, Greece, Germany and Israel, including a short stint in the NBA with the Phoenix Suns in 2014.
