Matthew George (born 16 July 1995) is a multi championship winning British racing driver. He started his motor racing career karting in 2007, becoming Midland Karting Champion in 2010... before moving up to car racing in 2016. George worked as a technician and driver coach at Base Performance Simulators, a racing simulator company led by three-time Le Mans winning Aston Martin factory driver, Darren Turner. George coached Superdry co-founder James Holder at Base Performance, working closely with him for six months before Holder made the decision to form racing team SuperRacing and signed George as the teams pro driver. George and Holder competed as a Pro-Am partnership within the British GT4 Championship, GT4 European Series, FFSA GT Championship, and Gulf 12 Hours. George currently holds 5 GT4 lap records - Donington Park, Circuit Paul Ricard, Yas Marina Circuit and 2 at the home of British racing - Silverstone. The Mercedes-AMG GT (C190 / R190) is a grand tourer produced in coupé and roadster bodystyles by German automobile manufacturer Mercedes-AMG. The car was introduced on and was officially unveiled to the public in October 2014 at the Paris Motor Show. After the SLS AMG, it is the second sports car developed entirely in-house by Mercedes-AMG. Britcar
Britcar is an endurance sports car racing and touring car racing series in the United Kingdom. It was formed in 1997, as a result of a discussion in a Nürburgring bar between Willie Moore and James Tucker. Folklore has it that James Tucker and John Veness formed the organizing European Endurance & Racing Club (EERC) with a £10 note found on the ground. Oulton Park is a hard surfaced track used for motor racing, close to the village of Little Budworth, Cheshire, England. It is about from Winsford, from Chester city centre, from Northwich and from Warrington, with a nearby rail connection along the Mid-Cheshire Line.
