Matt Carter (Coronation Street)
Dr Matt Carter is a fictional character from the British ITV soap opera '' Coronation Street'', played by Oliver Mellor. He made his first on screen appearance on 20 August 2010. On 30 June 2013, Mellor revealed that he had quit the show and Matt would not appear again. Oliver Mellor
Oliver Jacob Mellor (born 30 January 1981 in Windsor, Berkshire) is a British actor and former personal trainer, perhaps best known for playing the role of Matt Carter in ITV soap opera Coronation Street from 20 August 2010, departing on 5 April 2013 after a three-year stint on the show. Personal life Mellor grew up in Windsor, Berkshire with his father, a hotelier, his mother, a flight attendant and his older sister. Tommy Duckworth is a fictional character from the British ITV soap opera ''Coronation Street'', played by Darryl Edwards from 1992 to 1997, Joseph Aston in 2000 and Chris Fountain from 2011 to 2013.
