Oliver Mellor
Oliver Jacob Mellor (born 30 January 1981 in Windsor, Berkshire) is a British actor and former personal trainer, perhaps best known for playing the role of Matt Carter in ITV soap opera Coronation Street from 20 August 2010, departing on 5 April 2013 after a three-year stint on the show. Personal life Mellor grew up in Windsor, Berkshire with his father, a hotelier, his mother, a flight attendant and his older sister. He graduated from the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art in summer 2005. Before he became an actor, Mellor was a personal trainer and a former county rugby player where he suffered many injuries. He enjoys sports including fencing, fishing, rugby, skiing, snowboarding, and running. Windsor, Berkshire
Windsor is a historic market town and unparished area in the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead in Berkshire, England. It is the site of Windsor Castle, one of the official residences of the British monarch. The town is situated west of Charing Cross, central London, southeast of Maidenhead, and east of the county town of Reading. ''Twelve Angry Men'' is a play by Reginald Rose adapted from his 1954 teleplay of the same title for the CBS '' Studio One'' anthology television series. Staged in a 1964 London production, the Broadway debut came 50 years after CBS aired the play, on October 28, 2004, by the Roundabout Theatre Company at the American Airlines Theatre, where it ran for 328 performances. Characters and story The drama depicts a jury forced to consider a homicide trial. At the beginning, they have a nearly unanimous decision of guilty, with a single dissenter of "undecided", who throughout the play sows a seed of reasonable doubt. The story begins after closing arguments have been presented in the homicide case, as the judge is giving his instructions to the jury. As in most American criminal cases, the twelve men must unanimously decide on a verdict of "guilty" or "not guilty". E4 is a British free-to-air public broadcast television channel owned and operated by Channel Four Television Corporation. The Royal
''The Royal'' is a British period medical drama, produced by Yorkshire Television (later part of ITV Studios), and broadcast on ITV1 from 2003 until its cancellation in 2011. ''Hollyoaks'' is a British soap opera which began airing on Channel 4 on 23 October 1995. Billie Paul Piper (born Leian Paul Piper; 22 September 1982) is an English actress and former singer. Torchwood Institute
The Torchwood Institute, or simply Torchwood, is a fictional secret organisation from the British science fiction television series '' Doctor Who'' and its spin-off series ''Torchwood''. It was established in 1879 by Queen Victoria after the events of " Tooth and Claw". Its prime directive is to defend Earth against supernatural and extraterrestrial threats. It is later revealed in "Army of Ghosts" that the Torchwood Institute has begun to use their findings to restore the British Empire to its former glory. To those ends, the organisation started to acquire and reverse engineer alien technology. Within Torchwood, an unofficial slogan evolved: "If it's alien, it's ours". "Army of Ghosts" is the twelfth and penultimate episode in the second series of the British science fiction television programme '' Doctor Who'' which was first broadcast on BBC One on 1 July 2006. It is the first episode of a two-part story; the concluding episode, "Doomsday", was first broadcast on 8 July.
