Matias Mariani
Matias Mariani is a Brazilian film director, screenwriter, and producer. He is best known for his work on the film '' Shine Your Eyes'' and documentary ''I Touched All Your Stuff''. Life and career Matias graduated from New York University Tisch School Of the Arts. In 2006, he co-founded the production company Primo Filmes. In 2014, he directed the documentary feature ''I Touched All Your Stuff'', premiered at Marseille Festival of Documentary Film and Rio de Janeiro International Film Festival and it was released theatrically both in the US and Brazil. Plot Lourenço is a lonely pawn shop owner whose work made him insensitive to the suffering of those who desperately seek to sell him their personal possessions. Lourenço's insensitivity causes him to deal with the world as a collection of objects to be bought. He begins to play power games with his customers and derives pleasure from it. Lourenço narrates the movie, and throughout the plot, he reveals his growing lust for power. The 70th annual Berlin International Film Festival took place from 20 February to 1 March 2020. It was the first under the leadership of new Berlin Film Festival heads, business administration director Mariette Rissenbeek and artistic director Carlo Chatrian.
