MasterChef India
''MasterChef India'' is an Indian competitive cooking game show franchise based on the Australian show ''MasterChef Australia'', which itself is based on the original British ''MasterChef''. MasterChef India Season 1-4 and Junior Masterchef Swaad Ke Ustaad was produced by Colosceum Media. Endemol Shine India has been producing MasterChef India Season 5 onwards through Star India and Sun TV Network with Innovative Film Academy co-producing it for South Indian regional versions. It was originally started in Hindi language and has been extended to three languages spoken in the Indian sub-continent, including Tamil and Telugu. The Hindi version is available on Disney+ Hotstar while Tamil and Telugu are available on Sun NXT. Overview There are three versions in production. It was first made in Hindi-language in 2010. MasterChef India – Tamil (TV Series)
''MasterChef India – Tamil'' (or simply ''MasterChef Tamil'') is an Indian Tamil-language competitive cooking reality show based on ''MasterChef Australia'' and is part of ''MasterChef India''. Produced by Innovative Film Academy and Endemol Shine India, it is broadcast on Sun TV. The show is hosted by Vijay Sethupathi. The show was originally supposed to be aired in May 2021; however, due to the COVID-19 pandemic in India, the show was pushed back to 7 August 2021. The debut season of the Tamil version of '' MasterChef'' made the MasterChef format surpass 500 seasons worldwide. Vineet Bhatia
Vineet Bhatia (born 9 December 1967) is an Indian chef, restaurateur, author, and media personality. He was the first Indian chef to be awarded a Michelin star. He opened two Rasoi restaurants, the first in Chelsea, London in 2004, and the second in Geneva, Switzerland, in 2008. Both restaurants received Michelin stars, in 2006 and 2009 respectively, making Bhatia the first and only chef of Indian origin to receive two Michelin stars.
