Massimo Savić
Massimo Moreno Savić (6 June 1962 – 23 December 2022), also known simply as Massimo, was a Croatian pop singer. His father was a native of Tulež near Aranđelovac. His mother was Italian from Istria, a native of Raša near Labin. He first became popular in the 1980s with his band Dorian Gray, and then soon embarked on a successful solo career. He won five Porin awards for best male vocal performance, 2004–2007, and in 2012. In 2013, Massimo's thirty-year anniversary concert sold out the Pula Arena. It featured Vlado Kreslin, Neno Belan, and Nina Badrić as guests, and was also broadcast live by the Croatian Radiotelevision. He was one of the judges on the X Factor Adria (series 2), second series of ''X Factor Adria''. Massimo died from lung cancer at Sisters of Charity Hospital (Zagreb), Sisters of Charity Hospital in Zagreb on 23 December 2022, at the age of 60. Sisters Of Charity Hospital (Zagreb)
The teaching hospital Sisters of Charity ( hr, Klinički bolnički centar Sestre milosrdnice) in Zagreb, Croatia, is one of the oldest hospitals in southern Europe. History The hospital was established in 1846, through the initiative of Cardinal Juraj Haulik, the Archbishop of Zagreb. It changed locations a number of times until a permanent hospital campus was completed in 1894 by the German architect Kuno Waidmann, on the site of the former ''Villa Socias'' and a neighbouring graveyard in Vinogradska Street. It was run by the Sisters of Charity from 1894 until 1948. The Emperor Franz Joseph visited the hospital in 1895. ''X Factor Adria'', usually referred simply as ''X Faktor'', was a Balkan production of international talent show franchise of ''The X Factor''. The Adria edition of the show covered Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia and as of Season 2 Croatia as well, making the show regional. The 2nd Season was hosted by Antonija Blaće, Aleksandar Radojičić and Snezana Velkov. Like the original British version of the show, ''X Factor Adria'' was a music competition to find new singing talent, contested by aspiring singers drawn from public auditions. X Factor Adria is a Balkan production of international talent show franchise of ''The X Factor''. The Adria edition of the show covers Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, North Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia After the first series the original production company lost their licence which was then acquired by Prva, Serbian broadcaster and production company. It was revealed that Croatian broadcaster RTL was interested in bringing the show to Croatia as well, and that would broadcast it. In late February 2015 it was announced that Aleksandra Kovač, Massimo, Tonči Huljić and Željko Joksimović would judge the series. Nina Badrić
Nina Badrić (; born 4 July 1972) is a Croatian pop singer and songwriter. She began performing in the early 1990s, and competed in " Dora" – the Croatian selection for Eurovision Song Contest 4 times. She won 7th place in 1993 with "Ostavljam te", 10th place in 1994 with "Godine nestvarne", 18th place in 1995 with "Odlaziš zauvijek", and second place in 2003 with "Čarobno jutro". Badrić eventually represented Croatia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 in Baku, Azerbaijan with the song " Nebo". She finished 12th in the second semi-final and failed to qualify for the grand final.
