Mason Kayne (born James Mason; 11 June 1985) is an English actor. He was born in Darlington, County Durham, England Career Kayne is best known for his role in the British television series '' Ashes To Ashes'' as Young Gene Hunt. Darlington is a market town in the Borough of Darlington, County Durham, England. The River Skerne flows through the town; it is a tributary of the River Tees. The Futureheads
The Futureheads are an English post-punk band from Sunderland, formed in 2000. The band consists of Ross Millard (vocals and guitar), David "Jaff" Craig (vocals and bass guitar) and brothers Barry Hyde (vocals and guitar) and Dave Hyde (drums). Their name comes from the title of The Flaming Lips album ''Hit to Death in the Future Head''. The band's influences include new wave and post-punk bands such as Gang of Four, Devo, XTC, Wire and Fugazi. ''An Experiment with an Air Pump'' is a play by British playwright Shelagh Stephenson inspired by the painting ''An Experiment on a Bird in the Air Pump'' by Joseph Wright. It shared the Peggy Ramsay Award for 1997, was first performed at the Royal Exchange Theatre, Manchester in 1998, and has since been staged by a number of other companies worldwide. It was published in ''Plays One'', a collection of Stephenson's plays published in 2002. Plot summary The plot takes place in the same house in two different time periods divided by the gap of two hundred years (1799 and 1999). Shelagh Stephenson is an English playwright and actress. Background and education Stephenson was born in Tynemouth, Northumberland in 1955. She read drama at Manchester University. Career Acting Stephenson worked as an actress with the Royal Shakespeare Company and in bit parts in television. She appeared in ''Coronation Street'' in 1981 as the minor character Sandra Webb.
