Marysia Starosta (born 19 March 1981 in Warsaw), is a Polish singer. Her debut album titled ''Maryland'' was released on November 24, 2008 by EMI Music Poland. From 2011 she worked with her former partner, rapper Sokół Sokół (, English: Falcon), or in full the Polskie Towarzystwo Gimnastyczne "Sokół" ( en, "Falcon" Polish Gymnastic Society), is the Polish offshoot of the Czech Sokol movement, and the oldest youth movement organization of Poland. EMI Music Poland Sp. z o.o., was a Polish subsidiary of EMI Group Limited, it was founded in 1995 in Warsaw. Labels CEO was Piotr Kabaj. The label was founded in 1995 when EMI bought independent record label Kompania Muzyczna Pomaton (founded 1990). The purchase included rights for recordings by such artists as Tadeusz Woźniak, Jacek Wójcicki, Przemysław Gintrowski, Wolna Grupa Bukowina and Magda Umer among others. In 2012 EMI was sold to Universal Music Group. Prosto Sp. z o.o. is one of the largest Polish hip-hop record labels and clothing company. It was founded in 1999 in Warsaw by rapper Wojciech "Sokół" Sosnowski.
