Mary Cecilia Of Jesus
Natividad Zialcita (''religious name'': Mother Mary Cecilia of Jesus, O.C.D.) (7 September 1908 – 13 December 1982) was a Discalced Carmelite nun and prioress of the Carmelite monastery in Lipa during the alleged apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary under the title of Our Lady, Mediatrix of All Grace (1948). She was also the confidante of the visionary postulant, Teresita Castillo. Establishment of the Carmel of Lipa When the Carmel of Gilmore was founded in 1926, and Bishop Alfredo Versoza learned about it, he began appealing to the nuns to give him a Carmel in Lipa. After the Second World War, the Carmelites responded to the invitation. The place given them was the seminary, where a number of Lipeno people had been massacred, because it was the only property in the diocese available at that time. Egidio Vagnozzi (26 February 1906 – 26 December 1980) was an Italian cardinal of the Catholic Church. He served as the second president of the Prefecture for the Economic Affairs of the Holy See from 1968 until his death, and was elevated to the cardinalate in 1967. Biography Egidio Vagnozzi was born in Rome to Francesco and Pasqua (née Jachetti) Vagnozzi, and studied at the Minor Seminary, Pontifical Roman Seminary, and Pontifical Lateran University (from where he obtained doctorates in philosophy, theology, and canon law). Ordained a priest by Cardinal Rafael Merry del Val on 22 December 1928, Vagnozzi, at age 22, required a dispensation to be ordained, not having yet reached the canonical age. Rufino Jiao Santos (August 26, 1908 – September 3, 1973) was the 29th Archbishop of Manila from February 10, 1953, until his death on September 3, 1973, and was the first Filipino elevated to the rank of cardinal.
