Martynas Varnas
Martynas Varnas (born 21 January 1997) is a Lithuanian professional basketball player for Lietkabelis Panevėžys of the Lithuanian Basketball League (LKL). He was selected to the 2015 FIBA Europe Under-18 Championship All-Tournament Team after winning bronze medals with the Lithuania national team. Following the solid performance in the youth competition, it was reported that Varnas will receive a chance to join Žalgiris Kaunas club in 2015. Varnas, together with his age teammates: Tadas Sedekerskis and Laurynas Birutis, was invited to play in the FIBA's Youth All-Star Game during EuroBasket 2015 EuroBasket 2015 was the 39th edition of the EuroBasket championship that was organized by FIBA Europe. EuroBasket 2015 was the 39th edition of the EuroBasket championship that was organized by FIBA Europe. It was co-hosted by Croatia, France, Germany, and Latvia, making it the first EuroBasket held in more than one country. It started on 5 September and ended on 20 September 2015. Laurynas Birutis (born 27 August 1997) is a Lithuanian professional basketball player for Žalgiris Kaunas of Lithuanian Basketball League (LKL) and the EuroLeague. Tadas Sedekerskis (born January 17, 1998) is a Lithuanian professional basketball player for Cazoo Baskonia of the Liga ACB and the EuroLeague. Professional career During his early career at age of just thirteen Sedekerskis played for Kuršiai Neringa in the third-tier Lithuanian basketball league – RKL, averaging 10.6 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.8 assists per 27 minutes.
