Martyn Craig Campbell (born 1970 in Liverpool) is an English people, English bass guitar, bass guitarist. Liverpool is a city and metropolitan borough in Merseyside, England. Tilt (The Lightning Seeds Album)
''Tilt'' is the fifth studio album from British alternative rock band The Lightning Seeds. It was released in 1999. After The Lightning Seeds had become a full band in 1996 with the release of the hugely successful single "Three Lions" and the album ''Dizzy Heights'' that November, numerous members left the band whilst Zak Starkey joined the group on drums in time for their successful greatest hits album '' Like You Do... Best of The Lightning Seeds'' (1997). The band's successes alienated band leader Ian Broudie, who preferred being an "outsider more than a safe bet". Looking to stir the group in a new direction, he co-wrote material with Terry Hall, Steven Jones and Mark Cullen for ''Tilt''. ''Keys to the World'' is the third studio album by English singer-songwriter Richard Ashcroft. It was released 23 January 2006, reaching number 2 in the UK Albums Chart (see 2006 in British music). Ashcroft worked on the album at State of the Ark Studios and Julian Kershaw wrote string arrangements for some of the songs later recorded by London Metropolitan Orchestra. John Power (musician)
John Timothy Power (born 14 September 1967) is an English singer, songwriter and rhythm guitarist. He was the frontman of 1990s Indie rock band Cast, and the bassist and backing vocalist for The La's from 1986 to 1991. Following the dissolution of Cast in 2001, Power embarked on a solo career. In 2005, he briefly reunited with the La's, who split up again without releasing new material. Cast reformed in 2010, releasing the album '' Troubled Times'' in March 2012, followed by ''Kicking Up the Dust'' in April 2017. Power was born in Allerton, Liverpool. The La's Having previously struggled to find a permanent bass player since their formation, the La's recruited then 18-year-old John Power in July 1986 after he met Mike Badger at a course for unemployed musicians.
