Martina Stamm-Fibich
Martina Stamm-Fibich (born 23 April 1965) is a German politician of the Social Democratic Party of Germany, Social Democratic Party (SPD) who has been serving as a Member of the German Bundestag, member of the Bundestag from the state of Bavaria since 2013. Political career Stamm-Fibich first became a member of the Bundestag in the 2013 German federal election. She contested the List of Bundestag constituencies, constituency of Erlangen (electoral district), Erlangen in 2009, 2013, 2017 and 2021. She was re-elected at the 2021 German federal election. In parliament, Stamm-Fibich serves as member of the Committee on Health and the Committee on Petitions, where she serves as her parliamentary group's rapporteur on pediatrics, medical devices and patients' rights. In addition to her committee assignments, Stamm-Fibich has been an alternate member of the German delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) since 2022. Bundestag
The Bundestag (, "Federal Diet") is the German federal parliament. It is the only federal representative body that is directly elected by the German people. It is comparable to the United States House of Representatives or the House of Commons of the United Kingdom. The Bundestag was established by Title III of the Basic Law for the Federal Republic of Germany (, ) in 1949 as one of the legislative bodies of Germany and thus it is the historical successor to the earlier Reichstag. A patient's bill of rights is a list of guarantees for those receiving medical care. It may take the form of a law or a non-binding declaration. Typically a patient's bill of rights guarantees patients information, fair treatment, and autonomy over medical decisions, among other rights. India Under the direction of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MOHFW), India's National Human Rights Commission drafted a Charter of Patients' Rights in 2018.
