Martina Fernández Vila (born 1 October 2004) is a Spanish footballer who plays as a Defender (association football), defender or midfielder for Liga F club FC Barcelona Femení, Barcelona and Spain women's national under-23 football team, Spain under-23. She also captains FC Barcelona B (women), Barcelona Femení B. Early and personal life Martina Fernández Vila was born on 1 October 2004 and is from Ordis in Province of Girona, Girona, Catalonia. She grew up near to her maternal grandparents, with whom she maintains a close relationship. She began studying biomedicine but, in 2023, stopped pursuing this as a career to focus on football. As of 2024, she continues part-time study at a biomedical laboratory. The 2020–21 Primera División Femenina de Fútbol was the 33rd edition of Spain's highest women's football league, the 20th since the inception of the ''Superliga Femenina''. The league was scheduled to start on 5 September 2020 and to finish on 27 June 2021, however, the start date was delayed to 3 October. Penalty Shoot-out (association Football)
A penalty shoot-out (officially kicks from the penalty mark) is a tie-breaking method in association football to determine which team is awarded victory in a match that cannot end in a draw, when the score is tied after the normal time as well as extra time (if used) have expired. In a penalty shoot-out, each team takes turns shooting at goal from the penalty mark, with the goal defended only by the opposing team's goalkeeper. Each team has five shots which must be taken by different kickers; the team that makes more successful kicks is declared the victor. Shoot-outs finish as soon as one team has an insurmountable lead. If scores are level after five pairs of shots, the shootout progresses into additional " sudden-death" rounds. The 2023 UEFA Women's Under-19 Championship will be the 20th edition of the UEFA Women's Under-19 Championship, the annual international youth football championship organised by UEFA for the women's under-19 national teams of Europe. FC Rosengård, formerly Malmö FF Dam (1970–2007) and LdB FC Malmö (2007–2013), is a professional football club based in Malmö, Scania, Sweden. The team was established as Malmö FF Dam in 1970.
