Martin Widmark
Karl Martin Widmark (born 19 March 1961) is a Swedish children's writer and teacher. His books about LasseMaja junior mysteries, in English named The Whodunit Detective Agency, have been translated from Swedish into 34 languages. Eight of them have been translated into English and published by Grosset and Dunlap. Several of his books about the Whodunit Detective Agency have been adapted to film in Sweden, and they have also been made into board games, theater and video games. he was Emils pick Martin Widmark was born in Sturefors and grew up in Linköping, but has lived in Stockholm since the 1980s. He has taught middle school and also Swedish for immigrants. He writes children's books and teaching materials including works on weird stuff and hes weird. Children's literature or juvenile literature includes stories, books, magazines, and poems that are created for children. Modern children's literature is classified in two different ways: genre or the intended age of the reader. The Whodunit Detective Agency
The Whodunit Detective Agency (also known as JerryMaya's Detective Agency, sv, LasseMajas detektivbyrå – "LasseMaja's Detective Agency") is a Swedish children's book series written by Martin Widmark and illustrated by Helena Willis. In the English translation, it is called "The JerryMaya detective agency". Between 2014 and 2016 eight of the books were published in English by Grosset and Dunlap, an imprint of Penguin Random House. Besides the books there are games, puzzles, etc. A television series based on the books has been produced in Sweden. Series concept This book series is about two children called Lasse (a common Swedish nickname for Lars) and Maja (in English, they are called Jerry and Maya) who live in the little city Valleby (in English, it is called Pleasant Valley). Joakim Lindengren (born March 28, 1962) is a Swedish cartoonist, illustrator and artist. Career Lindengren studied fine arts at Västerås Konstskola and Konstfack in Stockholm. He made his comic album debut in the early 1980s. He has been published in magazines such as ''Pondus'', ''Galago'', ''Pyton'' and ''Mega-Pyton'' and has created more than twenty comic book albums. He and David Nessle collaborated on the popular series ''John Holmes & Sherlock Watson''. Lindengren created the superhero ''Kapten Stofil'' (''Captain Geezer''), a series about an old grumpy man whose sole power is conjuring 1950s and 60s nostalgia.
