Martin Viiask
Martin Viiask (born 27 April 1983 in Tartu, Estonia) is a former Estonian professional basketball player. Viiask started his senior club career in 2000 in Ehitustööriist. In the next year signed with Tartu Ülikool/Rock and played there until 2007, when he signed with Estonian rival Kalev/Cramo. He has also played for Kuremaa and TTÜ. His last season was with Tartu Ülikool/Rock on 2009–2010. He has also been a member of the Estonia national basketball team. Currently he works as a real estate broker in Tartu. Power Forward (basketball)
The power forward (PF), also known as the four or strong forward, is a position in basketball. Power forwards play a role similar to centers. When on offense, they typically play with their backs towards the basket. When on defense, they typically position themselves under the basket in a zone defense or against the opposing power forward in man-to-man defense. The Korvpalli Meistriliiga ( en, Basketball Champions League), known as the OlyBet Korvpalli Meistriliiga for sponsorship reasons, is the highest tier level and most important professional basketball league in Estonia. It is controlled by the Estonian Basketball Association. The first Estonian Basketball Championship tournament was held in 1925. During Soviet era (1941–1991) the league was called the Estonian Soviet Socialist Republic Championship.
