Martin Häusling
Martin Häusling (born 26 March 1961) is a German politician and member of the European Parliament from Germany. He is a member of the Alliance 90/The Greens, part of the European Green Party. Early life Before entering politics, Häusling managed his family's 75 hectare organic farm near Kassel. Political career Career in state politics Häusling entered local politics in 1981. He was elected to the Landtag of Hesse in 2003, but he failed to retain his seat at the following election in 2008. Member of the European Parliament, 2009–present Although he successfully stood at the subsequent early election in 2009, Häusling resigned his seat shortly afterwards when he was elected to the European Parliament. An organic product is made from materials produced by organic agriculture. Most well known organic products are organic food items, however clothing and personal care items can also be made with organic agriculture. Many countries have strict consumer safety regulations to protect consumers from consuming harmful products. These agencies often certify cultivated products as organic. The United States uses USDA certification through the National Organic Program to define products as organic. According to USDA, in order for a product to be considered organic, several standards must be met. Carina Konrad (born 19 September 1982) is a German politician of the Free Democratic Party (FDP) who has been serving as a member of the Bundestag from the state of Rhineland-Palatinate since 2017. Renate Elly Künast (born 15 December 1955) is a German politician of Alliance 90/The Greens party. She was the Minister of Consumer Protection, Food and Agriculture from 2001 to 2005 and subsequently served as chairwoman of her party's parliamentary group in the Bundestag. Till Backhaus (born Neuhaus 13 March 1959) is a German politician. As the German Democratic Republic approached its end as a standalone state, Backhaus was one of those who in December 1989 (re-)founded the Social Democratic Party, more than four decades after its suppression. Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is a class of diseases that involve the heart or blood vessels.
