Martin Henriksson
Hans Martin Knut Henriksson (born 30 October 1974) is a former Swedish musician best known for his work with death metal band Dark Tranquillity and was one of the original members, and the main songwriter for the band until he left them in 2016. Biography When Dark Tranquillity formed in 1989 Henriksson was the bassist up until 1999. He switched to guitar when their ex-guitarist Fredrik Johansson quit, but recorded bass again once on ''Construct'' when the band had no bassist at the time. He composed much of the band's music throughout his tenure, especially between ''Projector'' and ''Fiction''. Although Henriksson had been inactive with the band since 2015 it wasn't until January 2016 that he started to realize he didn't want to be in the band anymore. Gibson Explorer
The Gibson Explorer is a type of electric guitar model by Gibson guitars, released in 1958. The Explorer offered a radical, "futuristic" body design, much like its siblings: the Flying V, which was released the same year, and the Moderne, which was designed in 1957 but not released until 1982. The Explorer was the final development of a prototype design that, years later, Gibson marketed under the name Futura. The Explorer's initial run was unsuccessful, and the model was discontinued in 1963. In 1976, Gibson began reissuing the Explorer after competitor Hamer Guitars had success selling similar designs. The Explorer became especially popular among the hard rock and heavy metal musicians of the 1970s and 1980s. We Are The Void
''We Are the Void'' is the ninth studio album by Swedish melodic death metal band Dark Tranquillity. It is their first and only album with bassist Daniel Antonsson, who joined in 2008 and left in 2013. The band began writing for this album in late 2008 (except for the majority of "Iridium" which was written sometime between 1996-1998 but was left out until this album). Stylistically, it is similar to their previous album ''Fiction''; the band utilised the same Drop B tuning as well as clean melodic vocals that were re-introduced on ''Fiction''. The band also began to release songs from this album on their MySpace page starting with "Dream Oblivion" on 21 December 2009, "At the Point of Ignition" on 14 January 2010 and finally the entire album was available for free streaming on 19 February 2010. The guitar was designed by factory manager John Huis and his team with input from and endorsement by guitarist Les Paul.
