Martin Harley (musician)
Martin Harley (born 1975, Cardiff, Wales) is a British singer-songwriter and slide guitarist. He specialises in folk and blues and along his band, he has released five albums between 2003 and 2012. Biography Career Harley moved with his family to Woking, Surrey, England as a small child. He is the founder of The Martin Harley Band, a British blues trio and also performs solo as Martin Harley. Harley has been developing a steady solo career in the US since the release of his first US album, ''Mojo Fix'', in the fall of 2012. The Martin Harley Band continues to tour in the UK and abroad, and Harley continues to be active in his solo career as well. Gavin Shane DeGraw (born February 4, 1977) is an American singer-songwriter. DeGraw rose to fame with his song "I Don't Want to Be" from his debut album ''Chariot'' (2003); the song became the main theme song for The WB drama series '' One Tree Hill''. Other notable singles from his debut album were "Chariot" and " Follow Through". His second album, '' Gavin DeGraw'', was released in 2008 and included the top-20 single "In Love with a Girl". Good Old War
Good Old War is an American indie folk band from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States, featuring former members of Days Away. History Good Old War is made up of Keith Goodwin, Tim Arnold, and Dan Schwartz. The band's name comes from the last names of the three members; Goodwin Arnold Schwartz. The band was started in 2008 after Days Away (former band of Keith and Tim) went on hiatus; Schwartz previously played in Unlikely Cowboy. They began by recording some free demos in a late-night session at a recording studio, then played with Anthony Green, a fellow Pennsylvania musician, on a short stint of dates along the east coast as well as at the South by Southwest (SXSW) festival in Texas. Vladimir John Ondrasik III (born January 7, 1965), also known by his stage name Five for Fighting, is an American singer-songwriter and pianist. He is best known for his piano-based soft rock ballads, such as the top 40 hits " Superman (It's Not Easy)" (2001), "100 Years" (2003) " The Riddle" (2006). He also had a string of moderate hits on the adult contemporary charts in the late 2000s and into the 2010s, including "World" (2006) and "Chances" (2009). Shadowfax was a new-age/electronic musical group formed in Chicago in the early 1970s and best known for their albums '' Shadowfax'' and '' Folksongs for a Nuclear Village''. In 1989, they won the Grammy for Best New Age Performance for ''Folksongs for a Nuclear Village''. In 1993, they were nominated for the Grammy for ''Esperanto''. The group formed in 1972 and disbanded after 1995 when Lyricon player and leader Chuck Greenberg died of a heart attack. Charlie Bisharat
Charlie Bisharat is an American violinist known as a member of Shadowfax and for his work in film and with other New Age Jazz artists. He was born in Inglewood, CA in 1963 to parents who immigrated to the United States from Palestine in the 1950s. Bisharat was a member of the band Shadowfax which won the Best New Age Performance Grammy Award in 1988 for the album ''Folksongs for a Nuclear Village''. Midlake is an American folk rock band from Denton, Texas, formed in 1999. The band consists of Eric Pulido, McKenzie Smith, Scott Lee, Eric Nichelson, Jesse Chandler, and Joey McClellan.
