Marshfield High School (MHS) is located in Marshfield, Massachusetts, United States. It currently serves grades 9–12, and has a student population, as of 2013, of over 1300 students. The Principal (school), principal of the school is Robert E. Keuther. It is the only public high school in Marshfield, and there are no private high schools located in Marshfield. History The old building was built in 1969 and was demolished and replaced after the construction of a new building, which was finished in time for the 2014–2015 school year. Ryan Gibbons (American Football)
Ryan Gibbons (born March 13, 1983) is a former American football offensive guard in the National Football League for the Jacksonville Jaguars, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Chicago Bears and Dallas Cowboys. He was signed by the Jacksonville Jaguars as an undrafted free agent in 2006. He played college football at Northeastern. David Warsofsky
David Matthew Warsofsky (born May 30, 1990) is an American professional ice hockey defenseman. He is currently playing with Augsburger Panther of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL). Early life Warsofsky is Jewish, and was born in Marshfield, Massachusetts, the son of Dawn and Mark Warsofsky. He played at Marshfield High School in 2004–05 and at Cushing Academy in Ashburnham, Massachusetts for the following two years. He was named the 2007 U.S. Hockey Report's Prep Defenseman of the Year. Warsofsky was captain of the 2007–08 Under-18 United States men's national ice hockey team, where he tied as leader in assists and was second in points. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are a professional American football team based in Tampa, Florida. The Buccaneers compete in the National Football League (NFL) as a member club of the league's National Football Conference (NFC) NFC South, South division. Zach Michael Triner (born January 30, 1991) is an American football long snapper for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Assumption. College career Triner initially attended Siena College on a lacrosse scholarship. He played in 13 games for the Saints in his freshman season, scoring one goal as the team won the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference title. He transferred to Assumption College to play football going into his sophomore year. Lacrosse
Lacrosse is a team sport played with a lacrosse stick and a lacrosse ball. It is the oldest organized sport in North America, with its origins with the indigenous people of North America as early as the 12th century. The game was extensively modified by European colonists, reducing the violence, to create its current collegiate and professional form. Players use the head of the lacrosse stick to carry, pass, catch, and shoot the ball into the goal. The sport has four versions that have different sticks, fields, rules and equipment: field lacrosse, women's lacrosse, box lacrosse and intercrosse. Sean Paul Morris (born September 10, 1983, in Marshfield, Massachusetts) is a professional lacrosse player with the Boston Cannons of the Major League Lacrosse, and the Boston Blazers in the National Lacrosse League. He founded Laxachusetts, Legacy Lacrosse, BostonLax.net and has recently launched TheLocker.com. Amateur career Morris played collegiate lacrosse at University of Massachusetts. 1999 NFL Draft
The 1999 NFL draft was the procedure by which National Football League teams selected amateur college football players. It is officially known as the NFL Annual Player Selection Meeting. The draft was held April 17–18, 1999, at the Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York. The league also held a supplemental draft after the regular draft and before the regular season. Five quarterbacks were selected in the first round — Tim Couch, Donovan McNabb, Akili Smith, Daunte Culpepper, and Cade McNown — the second most (along with the 2018 and 2021 drafts) after the 1983 NFL Draft. Sean Joseph Morey (born February 26, 1976) is a former American football wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Brown. He was drafted by the New England Patriots in the seventh round of the 1999 NFL Draft. Morey also played for the Philadelphia Eagles, Pittsburgh Steelers and Arizona Cardinals. In gridiron football, a lineman is a player who specializes in play at the line of scrimmage. The linemen of the team currently in possession of the ball are the offensive line, while linemen on the opposing team are the defensive line.
