Marquise Williams
Marquise Javon Williams (born October 5, 1992) is a former American football quarterback. He played college football at North Carolina. Williams was signed by the Green Bay Packers as an undrafted free agent in 2016, later playing for the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League (CFL), the San Antonio Commanders of the Alliance of American Football (AAF), and the New York Guardians of the XFL. Early years Williams attended Mallard Creek High School in Charlotte, North Carolina. As a senior, he threw for 3,034 yards with 45 touchdowns and rushed for 1,147 yards and 19 touchdowns. Williams was a four-star recruit by Rivals.com and was ranked as the ninth best dual-threat quarterback in his class. New York Guardians
The Orlando Guardians are a professional American football team based in Orlando, Florida. The team was founded by Vince McMahon's Alpha Entertainment and is an owned-and-operated member of the XFL. The Guardians played their home games at MetLife Stadium in 2020 and will play at Camping World Stadium in 2023. They were originally named the New York Guardians, which they were known as for their first season. In July 2022, Alpha (under Dwayne Johnson and Dany Garcia ownership) announced that the XFL would not return to New York for the 2023 XFL season. The XFL is a professional American football minor league consisting of eight teams located across the United States in mid-sized to major markets served by at least one other major professional sports team. Seasons run from February to April, with each team playing a ten-game regular season, and four progressing to the playoffs to crown a season champion. It is headquartered in Arlington, Texas. Sam Howell (born September 16, 2000) is an American football quarterback for the Washington Commanders of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at North Carolina, setting school records for most touchdown passes in a single season (38) as well as career passing yards (10,283) and touchdown passes (92). The Old Dominion Monarchs football program represents Old Dominion University in U.S. college football. The first iteration of the team created in 1930 was known as the William & Mary Norfolk Division Braves. Bryn Renner (born January 22, 1990) is an American football coach and former quarterback who was most recently the quarterbacks coach at FIU. He played college football at the University of North Carolina from 2009 to 2013 for head coaches Butch Davis, Everett Withers, and Larry Fedora. He was the starter for the Tar Heels from 2011 to 2013.
