Maroussi Saint Thomas Indoor Hall, or Maroussi Agios Thomas Indoor Hall (alternate spelling: Marousi), is an indoor sporting arena that is located in the city of Athens in Maroussi area, Greece. The arena is only about away from the Athens Olympic Sports Complex, which is also known as the OAKA, and the Nikos Galis Olympic Indoor Hall. The arena is primarily used to host basketball games. The indoor hall is owned by the municipality of Maroussi. The seating capacity of the indoor basketball arena is 1,700 people. Marousi or Maroussi ( el, Μαρούσι, also Αμαρούσιο ''Amarousio'') is a suburb in the northeastern part of the Athens agglomeration, Greece. Marousi dates back to the era of the ancient Athenian Republic; its ancient name was Athmonon (Ἄθμονον) and it represented one of the 10 Athenian sub-cities. Nikos Galis Olympic Indoor Hall
The O.A.C.A. Olympic Indoor Hall (honorarily named ''Nikos Galis Olympic Indoor Hall'' since 2016), which is a part of the Olympic Athletic Center of Athens (O.A.C.A.) «Spyros Louis» ( el, O.A.K.A. «Σπύρος Λούης»), was completed in 1995, and was the largest indoor venue in use for sporting events at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece. Greek Basket League
The Greek Basket League (GBL), often also referred to as the Greek A1 Basketball League, or Greek Basketball Championship (originally called Panhellenic Basketball Championship), and also known as the Stoiximan Basket League for sponsorship reasons, is the first tier level professional basketball league in Greece. It is run by HEBA ( el, ΕΣΑΚΕ, link=no), under the legal authority of the Hellenic Basketball Federation (E.O.K.). It is the highest-tier level of the Greek league system.
